This is a NASCAR video of the worst crashes at Daytona International Speedway. None of the wrecks you see in the video are fatal. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed!
The worst/most spectacular non fatal crash of all time is Bodine at 2:00 In the fence. Truck shredded; engine thrown clear. Tumbles down track at least three times. Hit by another truck, launched into the air and flips twice. Lands on side and minor fire. He races three months later.
Gotta love the safety features of these cars. To be going at near 200 mph speeds and not only walk away from crashes at such speeds, but continue competing, is something else.
Sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know of a method to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Trevor Louis Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
2 wide = ok 3 wide = sketchy 4 wide = Just a matter of "when" Races are brutal, man. Takes a lot feel for these cars to avoid incidents but even the best find themselves in the wrong place wrong time
I mean, before a NASCAR race at Richmond they went a pace lap going 4 wide and they go like 5 wide at Talladega, (4 wide on the track and one more car on the apron)
when a two wide crash happens, you think it won’t be such a big crash, but when that happens at the top of the field and there are many cars behind you 3 wide or even 4 wide, you know the crash is gonna be a big one
Dale Sr. Used to go sliding in the grass like that if he won a race, that’s why after a race that Austin Dillion won, he went sliding into the infield grass.
Bruh the 2001 Daytona 500 big one causing tony Stewart to flip wildly is the most underrated crash cause in the same race it had dale Earnhardt's fatal crash
You forgot some wrecks: John Banks 1976 Maynard Troyer 1971 Richard Petty 1988 Lee Petty & Johnny Beauchamp 1961 Michael Waltrip 2004 37 Cars pileup 1960 Tommy Herbert 1960 Wes Morgan 1961
I love how in U.S Motorsport crashes are excitement, here in the UK and in Europe if crashes like that kept happening then they would take steps to neuter the sport until it stopped. U.S Motorsport is a very good watch.
God, it’s amazing how much engineering that goes into these vehicles that drivers can walk away from these wrecks. I don’t care much for the accidents, but I’m happy the drivers walk away. I mean, they still get hurt, but without the engineering, this race would never happen. They’d be broadcasting vehicular homicide
If i was to pick the 1959 big one, 2000 Geoff Bodine flip, or 2015 Austin Dillon flip of worst crash at Daytona, im picking Geoff Bodines flip. Thats was awful to look at.

At the start of any crash, no matter how bad, you will always hear "Oh! Big Trouble!"
Followed by "That's the big one at [enter track/event name here]"
@@siamsurf and then often which turn

"The Big One happens at Daytona!"
a crash that happens so often its name is capitalized
2 wide = ok
3 wide = sketchy
4 wide = Just a matter of "when"
Races are brutal, man.
Takes a lot feel for these cars to avoid incidents but even the best find themselves in the wrong place wrong time
5 wide: impossible except at Pocono
40 wide: prepare to get yeeted
I mean, before a NASCAR race at Richmond they went a pace lap going 4 wide and they go like 5 wide at Talladega, (4 wide on the track and one more car on the apron)

4:30 keep an eye on the 15, Clint Bowyer. I love how he drives it through the grass like Lightning McQueen.
I keep eye on the that almost flipped
Dale Sr. Used to go sliding in the grass like that if he won a race, that’s why after a race that Austin Dillion won, he went sliding into the infield grass.
Less drive more flying uncontrollably.
1:04
That's the second Hellmann's car I've seen flipped in this video, and it's only been like a minute.
Those cars are literally mayonnaise now.
See what you did there
bruh im sorry but at 1:05 yall not gonna tell me its like the one cars scene where mqueen goes drifting in the dirt look at the blue car lmao
@@Bigoppchris i have a video about this, its on my Channel

2:27. That fence is legit. 😲
5:17 damn number 15 landed that flip clean 🔥
Yea only clint could do that in the gen 6 carz
Forgot Lee Petty going over the fence wrecks. That's easily the worst one
Geometry Dash Animal What about Don McTavish's crash in 1969?
Mctavish's was the absolute worse, bar none. Petty going through the guardrail looked devastating, Don McTavish's was.
Josh Jarnagin no fatal crashes
NCAL whay about Michael Waltrip 2004 Daytona 500, Tommy Herbert 1960 And Maynard Troyer in 1971?
Geoff Bodine
0:01 love how ESPN mentioned the big one before it happened.
You know what is amazing to me? Danica Patrick has somehow been in Cup since we still had SPEED Channel. She has existed in Cup longer than FS1
SPEED was better, we didn't need to watch overtime for soccer
TwinSpinner
I know this is Bad crash. I
racing did get better than before. they have more safty.in addition to Being safe.I
whats more amazing is how danica manages to wreck in every race
5:40 I just imagine pepper from star fox saying do a barrel roll
The N64 game?? U talking about
You mean Peppy, right?
Looks like a Forza 7 race full of noobs
no theres not enough lag and the drivers last more than 2 seconds in traffic here
Nah just like some arca drivers
Forza 7 has ovals?
Shannon Wilson Indy homestead Daytona
Daytona says it all. Just gotta keep the jet dryers away from Montoya still.😂

1:25 Kligerman:WEEEE Truex:Oh shoot Parker Menard:Ouch Logano:WTF!? Bayne:SCREW YOU JOEY! Blaney:THIS IS AMAZING
Marcus Macarone do you mean Paul Menard?
Yah
2:54 Is it just me, or did it look like McMurray had lost/was about to lose a tire when that big one happened?
2:00 took me a while to figure out. It was Geoff Bodine in 2000. He did survive.
Was looking for this comment, wow... unbelievable a human can survive such an impact.
the worst two are in a row from 2:00
2:57 I just noticed the awesome wreck avoidance that one of the Front Row drivers had in that. Wow!
I like the shinedown song at the end
How in the world did the #15 barrell roll in the air and came out unscaved I'll never know..... at 5:40
brian versansky It's because Bowyer landed on its tires, and it most likely destroyed the chassis of the car.
Magic
This is AWSOME!!!
1:47 - I think everybody right there behind the catchfence, probably crapped themselves.
Seeing almost no people in the stands breaks my heart
Who excited for cars 3
ME
NascarRacing42 a couple of the crashes reminded me of it
Tristan Hargrove Vlogs I can see that

Austin's crash still scares me to this day
Doesn't look real. At all. Like a simulation

Joe Young 1987
Rusty Wallace 1993
Lisa Y that's fatal tho.
Dale Earnhardt Sr 2001. Deadly, but still major.
Ryan Newman 2003
Ryan Newman 2020
One question, were you able to get footage of Dale Earnhardt's crash here. The last one I mean?
Andy when looking at carnage on the cars themselves it wasn’t a bad one - and that’s one of the reasons it was fatal.

7:55, that's incredible.
Anybody see at 5:21 where 15 went in air did a barrel roll and land on wheels an keep driving
At the 1:40 slow-mo, look how fast the official pulls out the red flag! That’s cool.
Then again, this was practice, and he was already gripping the red flag so he began waving it the moment he saw those cars going around
1:22 OH! NO!
What is that song called in the outro
at 200mph shit gets hairy quick
I can almost smell the burning rubber... wait no... thats my toaster on fire
Nice song choice at the end
I LOVE the song at the end. That was enough to make me subscribe
Did anyone see the 92 go through
the big wreck where Christipher bell flipped
Great video
At 4:37 he said, "The big one has happend at lap 97" look. It CLEARLY says 98/160. So he must be blind or doesn't know the difference between 8 and 7.
KyleBusch Fan18 it’s because 97 laps were completed. It was on lap 98 but they had only completed 97 laps
2:21 is super scary cause the car flew into the bleachers…
I believe it was stopped by the catch fence before it got into the stands
I didn’t hit the stands I just bounced back from the fence
NASA's worst crashes at Daytona? Wait, no I'm just real tired.
Haha lol
1:23 carl Edward's flip no guy have you un grown?
