Lestat is overtly chaotic. If you observe him close enough, you learn his patterns and how to deal with him. Armand, on the other hand, you never know what's going on with him. And that's scary. Would love to see an unhinged Armand like he was in S2:E5.

if you didn't know his answer then, you know it now. he's so obvious in the after episode explanations each week. in the one at the end of ep 4, Jacob called Armand a "rebound" and then at the end of ep 5, he talked about how Armand manipulating the memories as hurtful "betrayal". lmao. He's so Loustat and I'm here for it
I actually was surprise that he didn't said Loustat right away! Especially since Jacob is always so clear about Loustat place in The Vampire Chronicles Books Universe and show. To the point of saying if there is no Loustat there is no show.

And Assad in an interview talked about him being so shy and anxious as a kid acting was his way of opening up. Keep in mind they only had a couple of private scenes together in the show at this point. Most of the time Jacob was the mediator to ease the anxiety they might have towards each other. They are both social awkward and probably had to be around each other to be comfortable with each other.
I found it funny too, he is just like that you know he fools around not to take seriously, I think he also said to Sam he got pregnant when he watch him as the harlequin, wich I can totally believe like same!!!! 😊😍❤️😘
