Poker Golf - Select a buy in amount $ which automatically gives you 3 cards. Then for every 1 putt you get a card, if it's longer than a flag pole length (pullie) you get a card, if you birdie it's a card, if you eagle it's 2 cards. So if you birdie 1 putt from outside a flag length you get 3 cards that hole. If you 3-putt you put a specified amount of money in the pot (same pot that all the buy in money goes to). One rule kicker is that you must score bogey or better for your 1 putt to count (but based on the skill level of your group you can adjust it) which prevents golfers laying up close off the green just to chip it close to get a 1 putt card. At the end you add up the total of cards you won and you deal out the cards and each golfer puts together their best 5 card stud poker hand. Best hand takes the whole pot. So obviously the more cards you accumulate over the round the better chance you have at putting together a strong hand. Again this is another game that not necessarily requires all the golfers to be super skilled or same handicap and puts a president on your putting and keeps you engaged throughout the whole round. And then a little luck as just because you have the most cards doesn't guarantee you will win. My golf group usually plays this as well as teams and match play best ball, 3 positions (front nine, back nine, overall).
Another one out here is called "Domo" where its teams off the tee. 5-6 golfers. 2 furthest on the right are a team, 2 furthest on the left are a team, and person or pair in the middle is the middle man. You play high low at that point. Best ball and how many stokes you beat the other teams by. If its only 5 golfers the person in the center is the middle man and their score is times 2x so it can be a good thing if you win as you will receive double the money or bad thing if you lose and have to pay double, just as if you had a partner. You specify how much each point or stoke is worth and pay right after the hole is finished and then the next hole it starts over again so you can be paired with someone completely different.

Poker golf is a great one! Have enjoyed it each time I've played it. Haven't heard of Domo but seems like a neat concept! Thanks for watching!
