Then they go nuts in the chat, votekick the commander etc, because a single squad got behind them, quietly destroyed all the garrys and begun capturing the strong point to which no one can get back in time to defend even if they wanted to. It is no wonder that a few players on one team can dominate games by simply playing the game as it is supposed to (because no one else does): rush mid, build nodes, build defensive and offfensive garrys, take down enemy garrys which are always super obvious and easy to find, capture the next sector, stay and defend because the rest of the team will rush ahead. And while people lose their mind about k/d ratios, this handful of players win game after game after game. For the player who knows how this game is supposed to be played, and I say this humbly, it is extremely boring to watch this nonsense. But I understand you are doing this for your casual viewer base who does not understand or care about meta and big brain plays, because he would not understand what is he watching. Kills are easy to understand, especially for the player who is frustrated about "who shot me? where did I get shot from? this is so unfair!" because they do not understand how to read the map and which are the obvious places where people camp, and how to get around them and shoot them in the bum, waiting for them to see where they spawn, so you can take down their op, and thus completely eliminating them from the picture.

Obviously that's the opposite of what you should expect from me given my record, but seems like you don't care about that. No, this happened on stream, and I was waiting for Terry to rocket the garrison from a safe distance while I camped it. Don't assume that because you watched a 30s clip, you know the context of the entire situation. *Thirdly, "For the player who knows how this game is supposed to be played, and I say this humbly, it is extremely boring to watch this nonsense. But I understand you are doing this for your casual viewer base who does not understand or care about meta and big brain plays, because he would not understand what is he watching"*. So you not only thought it was necesarry to undermine me in your comments, but also my viewer base. How nice. If you find the actual gameplay of the game boring to watch, then don't watch it. Nobody cares if you watch it or not, and these videos are pretty easy to identify from the thumbnail alone. Don't like them? Ok, thanks for the feedback, but then you assume whoever DOES find these videos fun is an idiot or someone that doesn't understand the game. I find watching videos like this entertaining because dominating in combat is always fun, regardless of the strategy and tactics involved in the actual game, and a lot of other, extremely knowledgeable players do as well. So, in summary, you took a few gameplay clips that you thought you understood the context from and infered that I, for some reason, was playing to increase my K/D and not to win. That I was playing for fun and memes instead of using the best possible tactics and gameplay that I know of in order to win. I've already stated you are wrong. I play to win. I'm the first to redeploy to fall back and defend. I don't care about my K/D. I do care about making fun videos, informative or not. Then you insult anyone who watches these videos by basically claiming they are mostly enjoyed by idiots who don't understand the game. God forbid someone can actually be smart AND enjoy these vids! Try and smile more. Maybe learn to appreciate the fact that people enjoying different things from those you enjoy doesn't mean they are dumber than you. And maybe don't think you know what's going on my mind and what is the best course of action based on what I choose to show you in my video. Also, who the f cares about xp in this game?
@@monoespacial I did not mean my comment to be perceived as an attack. You either misunderstood or misrepresented everything I said, and what my premise was. Maybe I should have written a bigger wall of text to be more clear. It is cool, I will write a bigger wall of text. Just as you do not like "those people" I do not like to be identified with "them", and I do not like to be trash talked, especially when it is based on an assumption which you can not verify. You postulate my intention is to take the piss on you and your viewers, then you proceed to treat me like garbage, you accuse me of assuming things while you assume things. I am sorry, but if that isn't hypocrisy, I do not know what is. Where I am coming from is this: the game has been steadily messed around with where it is tougher and tougher to make videos about it unless they are compilations or guides about stuff that in the next patch will become totally wrong, or you keep things simple for people who have very few hours played and care to learn the basics. The game has turned into if you win, you win more, and if you lose, you lose more with absolutely no comeback mechanic. But that does not matter, because 90% of the teams don't actually play the game, don't communicate at all. Or, play the game of abuse the engineer class by destroying friendly nodes and building your own node farms, or drive the tank to the back of the enemy base and destroy empty tanks and trucks, jump on arty and single handedly win the game by shooting into the two obvious lanes of attack for each strong point because the maps are designed this way, so players don't have to think too much when rushing in. So, the fact that by grabbing the middle point first and holding to it for long enough to settle in, you essentially won the game 99% of the time, is not so soon obvious to people who play in public games, where no one plays the actual game. Exactly, xp is completely meaningless once you have everything unlocked, just as kills are. If you shoot the air around the players of the other team in order to scare them and keep them away from a critical sector it is just as effective as taking them out, or you can simply go around everyone destroy garris, or capture sector after sector without firing a shot. Or be the first to cap mid, hold on to it by simply hiding and staying alive and win the game. Why even have guns, then? Why have classes locked behind xp walls? In correctly designed video games, you do not implement stuff for players to do that is not rewarded in any meaningful way and it does not have an impact on the objective of the game: win. People play hll, shoot stuff, and then wonder why the lost anyway because from their perspective, they were doing well. And while you do not personally care about XP, as long as you have "stuff to unlock", XP is critical, because the guy who can play panzergrenadier (lvl 8 rifleman) or can play nco or whatever has an edge over the guy who does not have them unlocked. You can be angry at me, but in all honesty and whether you like it or not, there is very little to work with to make videos about this game that cater to people who have more than 100 hours put into it and who have already figured everything out, and do not watch you for your personality. And that sucks. For you and the work you put in your videos, for me who would like to watch your more often, for everyone who would like to keep playing. The thing I was pointing out to from the beginning is this: it is more valuable to take out that garrison than killing everyone next to it, yet it is appreciated as fun, omg, it is a total kill fest, even though it is -within the game's meta- equivalent to losing badly. It is like someone making a war thunder video where they lose all their energy by chasing another pane into an obvious energy trap and end up getting shot to pieces. No one would ever post that. Yet, in hell let loose, a game filled with contradictory and mind boggling design choices meant to cater to people who have no patient to learn the game, and who just want to shoot stuff for a dozen of hours and then move to the next thing, this is totally ok. It should not. The game player base is not growing, experienced players are dropping like flies and they move on because they hate the changes. They game is super predictable, has a ton of contradictory design choices, it has no comeback mechanics, and it is filled with downright bad maps which force players into one or two lanes. The game should have had a million guides about its meta and proper play by now. It has been out for 2 years. It does not. Someone who starts fresh, can't find anything useful (even though they think they do) because there is nothing that covers what experienced players normally do during the game as you can find for every other similar multiplayer games (war thunder, dcs, squad, etc). Have you ever considered to record yourself playing a game, trimming it down to 10 minutes to cut out the downtime, add some commentary on why you did certain things, what your intentions where etc? Did you ever feel inclined to do so, did you feel that the game allowed for such an approach? Something like, playing engineer on axis side and winning on a garbage map like foy. Playing support and losing for the us on hill 400. Search for defyn in war thunder for reference, to see what I mean. The game is bad. That is the issue.
I'm sorry, I don't think I misrepresented anything. Especially after reading this: *Just as you do not like "those people" I do not like to be identified with "them"* You are talking about people that don't understand the game (or don't care to) as if they were some kind of plague. You called my video "nonsense" made for "your casual viewer base". Well, to be honest, I don't think there's nothing wrong with nonsense sometimes, if that's what you want to call a video that's focused purely on entertainment. Even players who know how to play the game find enjoyment in these videos. Do you also not want to be identified with "them"? So here's the thing. I agree that the game's meta needs corrections, desperately so. But that's about it. You claim there is no new content to be made that would be useful for players with 100h or more. Well, I think that's just lack of creativity. There's still plenty of videos I could make: - Recon video - Squad tactics and composition - Breakdowns for each map - Recon vehicle guide - Light vehicle guide To name a few, as well as broader videos covering stuff like upcoming patches, controversial topics, etc. You also claim that there should be millions of video guides made of the game and.... there are! There's plenty of people making tons of interesting videos about the game. However, finding them is not always easy on UA-cam. *"Someone who starts fresh, can't find anything useful (even though they think they do) because there is nothing that covers what experienced players normally do during the game as you can find for every other similar multiplayer games"* Should I be ofended by this? Someone who starts fresh can find like 20 videos made by me that cover what experienced players do. *"Have you ever considered to record yourself playing a game, trimming it down to 10 minutes to cut out the downtime, add some commentary on why you did certain things, what your intentions where etc? Did you ever feel inclined to do so, did you feel that the game allowed for such an approach?"* Well, I've done one video like this but it probably focuses too much on gunplay for you to find it proper. Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/W0V7RWHkPho/v-deo.html Also, the player base is growing. It's not shrinking, though I do agree veteran players are moving on to other games. I agree something needs to happen to the game's meta. I disagree on pretty much everything else, especially on the air of elitism and superiority you seem to want to invoke. EDIT: I forgot to mention I stream this game regularly and many people tune in specifically to watch and understand my thought process.
@@monoespacial "You are talking about people that don't understand the game (or don't care to) as if they were some kind of plague." I never said or implied that. At all. You keep reading between the lines. And you keep insisting with this utter nonsense that I somehow look down on others when the only topic I brought up is the state of the game, where stuff like spawn camping is worthwhile content. Because besides kills and explosions the game is a convoluted mess. Then you call me elitist whereas you keep patronizing me and instead of trying to understand my position on the game, you keep lecturing me on what my position should be, and how ashamed I should feel about something you make up about me. Again, cut it out with this hypocritical nonsense, and with the attacks. Even if I was an idiot with a chip on the shoulder, arguing that arbitrary traits of my character which can be criticized from some arbitrary moral highground somehow invalidates my opinion is nonsense. It is intellectual dishonest and petty approach to have any sort of conversation with anyone. I said a lot of players in the game are either new players or veterans. Few in between. So there is no real, consistent audience who cares to watch good quality gameplay because the game really does not offer any. The majority of new players do not stick around, and the experience players quit in droves, completely fed up with the direction of the game There is nothing growing. Look at the steam stats and battlemetrics. The game is stagnant. It is a two year old multiplayer game that has around 2-3k concomitant active players on average, no matter what. Out of 30k+ unique. That reads: a lot of new players take advantage of the free weekends for the memes, and then move on. That is not a healthy community. You insist to represent me as some sort of ideological opponent of a nonsense point of view I do not agree with AT ALL. I watched that video back when I was starting playing. Videos like that are few and far between. Other games thrive on such videos, on proper gameplay, proper decision making, etc. Hell let loose is for the memes and explosions, killstreaks and spawn camping (none of which the point of the game). And very few people out of that "growing playerbase" care to watch videos about proper gameplay of hll, because they do not stick around, and they do not stick around not because they are the plague, they do not stick around because the game is a convoluted mess which plays like ww1, and hates encouraging any proper manuever warfare like in ww2. It wants players to channel themselves into lanes, slog it out there until they get sick of it, and never go too far from capture points on wide maneuvers or they lose the game. And when you have contradictions like that between what people care to watch and what the game is actually about it points out to the fact that the game itself does not understand what it wants to be: more like squad/dayz or more like battlfield/cod. It is neither, it is bad. And the fact that even to this day, in a game where line of sight is critically important, antialiasing implementation and object render distance is still an issue is says a lot about its state.
Yes, that's my entire gameplay style. I wasn't covering the garrison so a friend that was flanking could take it out. You should check out my other videos like "Spawn camping on SME" and "Spawn camping in Kursk"
@@monoespacial At the beginning of the video you have time to destroy the garrison when you have killed the first wave but you are waiting for the second wave. This kind of behavior kills good games because it makes players sick of waiting 40 seconds just to die. My langague was limited in the first comment because I reacted hotly and my English is bad. Anyway it's not fair and not fair play.
@@kevinbon3305 I understand why you would think that, but there was an enemy camping the garrison. Before the video starts, one of my squadmates tried to get it and got shot. Then Terry tries and gets shot (this happens at the start of the video). None of them knew where the shot came from, and I knew my team was closing in, so my options were: 1) Try and get the garrison with a high chance of failure. This would result in a spawn wave that could repel our remaining forces. 2) Keep sight on the garrison to try and defend whoever tried to dismantle, or at least determine where the enemy camper was. Potentially wipe out a spawn wave to allow more people to close in and dismantle the garrison. So the problem is you think you understand the context of the video, but you don't. You don't have all the information. This could have been my 10th life getting to the garrison but dying before dismantling. Again, you wouldn't know, because I obviously wouldn't edit the video to include that. Matches in HLL are LONG. There is a lot going on. I suggest you don't judge people's attitude to the game and their gameplay based off a 30s clip. I've camped garrisons maybe 6 times in the 1700hs I have in the game, always as a last resort. I've helped literally thousands of people get into this game and learn how to play it. And yet you think I'll be as shitty as to camp a garrison just because? You should reconsider how hastily you judge someone.

Especially after reading this:
*Just as you do not like "those people" I do not like to be identified with "them"*
You are talking about people that don't understand the game (or don't care to) as if they were some kind of plague.
There's still plenty of videos I could make:
- Recon video
- Squad tactics and composition
- Breakdowns for each map
- Recon vehicle guide
- Light vehicle guide
To name a few, as well as broader videos covering stuff like upcoming patches, controversial topics, etc.
You also claim that there should be millions of video guides made of the game and.... there are! There's plenty of people making tons of interesting videos about the game. However, finding them is not always easy on UA-cam.
*"Someone who starts fresh, can't find anything useful (even though they think they do) because there is nothing that covers what experienced players normally do during the game as you can find for every other similar multiplayer games"*
Should I be ofended by this? Someone who starts fresh can find like 20 videos made by me that cover what experienced players do.
*"Have you ever considered to record yourself playing a game, trimming it down to 10 minutes to cut out the downtime, add some commentary on why you did certain things, what your intentions where etc? Did you ever feel inclined to do so, did you feel that the game allowed for such an approach?"*
Well, I've done one video like this but it probably focuses too much on gunplay for you to find it proper. Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/W0V7RWHkPho/v-deo.html
Also, the player base is growing.
@@monoespacial "You are talking about people that don't understand the game (or don't care to) as if they were some kind of plague."
I never said or implied that.
The majority of new players do not stick around, and the experience players quit in droves, completely fed up with the direction of the game
There is nothing growing.
Bro what are you on about? 🤣🤣 Cope more
Eeeerikaaaa
Spawn Kill is not fun.
Dude just destroy the garrison, dont camp it for kills. that is weak..
Check out the other comments. Did you stop to think there might be some context to the situation?
👌🏿
Camper on gary ..sad
noob spawn killer no skill for aim
None of them knew where the shot came from, and I knew my team was closing in, so my options were:
1) Try and get the garrison with a high chance of failure.

Sorry, as I said I reacted hotly because the game has become different and bad for a few months I think, it's not like before
