    I've been working on this knot for over a week and I was not getting it until I watched this video!!! thank you!!! seeing your hands gave a better visual reference than a pole for example.

      I'm the same way I just can't see it if I try tying it on a whip or mandrel

    i usually just tie it right on the whip. Then there is no transferring saves a step or two

    Ok.but I do not like the way you finished the knot you should have gone through the middle of the knot so the end come out through the the other side ,the reason for this is the way you tied this Turks head is like a foot rope knot and if you were to turn it end for end you would make a diamond knot.
