True, there will never again be such a amazing story ruined by two middle aged men.
Pretty sure I'd still classify Jon Snow as a reluctant hero and Cersei Lannister, Joffrey, Ramsay Bolton, Walder Frey and the Mountain as villains. Daenerys was a misguided and confused soul who thought she was a hero when she was really becoming a villain.

Game of Thrones isn't over. In a couple decades someone is gonna decide like every other franchise in the history of cinema that it needs a remake.

Back then when I watched the first seasons for the first time I didn't notice how amazing some characters were. Especially Tywin. I need to rewatch the whole thing.

@Mr. House They already had a huge debt owed from Robert's reign. They never paid that to the best of my knowledge. In the books, every time the Iron Bank sent an envoy, Cersei refused to pay them "until the rebellion's over."

@@adolfchristus1226 Unless the show mentioned otherwise, I see the details in the book as filling in the gaps. The show did mention in season 1 that the crown's in debt. Are we just going to assume that Littlefinger paid off all the debt back then?

Imagine long season full of epic fights with wights (Cersei problem is already solved and Danny is sitting on iron throne, so full Westeros is fighting the Great War in which they are losing and they are fast af retreating more south) and also full of plot twists and losses
as it was allways for GoT a custom. And this listening to last defense of Casterly Rock which looks totaly lost, wights are allready broken defense and are everywhere in the fortress also fullfill atmosphere fire and night. Jaime as the heir is in charge and waiting inside the main court beyond barricade for his last charge with remaining troops and commanders and more members of his house, shouting his final speech and White Walkers walking closer in their favorite slow steps are in alternating shots, 1:47 they charge at them and then goes slow shot as they dissapeirs in the sea of wights and then shot from above the fortress and goes more and more up and showing everything is in ruins with fire and then goes ending credits... ending of episode..and now the rains weep o' their halls, with no one there to hear. aww
Lol, no, i would make a hero of this last charge from someone else, perhaps someone of his uncles who should be introduced in few episodes before for beter known.. from Lannister house except the main was shown a very little and Jaime has char. development as nobody else he should survive all that horrors and become the Golden Lion as he always was supposed to be and then contunie in the legacy as Tywin always wanted so his first act shall be rebuilding the Casterly Rock after.

Imagine yourself for a moment up on a battlefield, fighting foreign aggressors who are intent on taking your land and your wives, and in the mud and blood you see in the distance in the sky a grotesque figure coming closer and closer. At first you cannot quite make out the figure, you are busy facing your enemies, blood drips from the helmet you are wearing and partially obscures your vision. But soon an excruciating sound fills the skies and you finally see it, a being only told of in legends, a dragon, heading towards you, inhaling everything in its path. You know there is nothing you can do. You drop your shield and sword, raise your head to the sky and wait for the end.
This gets me so fired up for my nightshifts!!!!
Am I the only one who enjoyed the show, even the last season?
Nope. I enjoyed the last season as well, and had a satisfactory feeling with the ending.
I enjoyed it. I just wish there was a little more time in the season to help build up the biggest final moments. It felt a little rushed at times, where pacing has generally been one of the show's strong points.
@@Gnoizic True but, when you get your budget cut in half and the total amount of episodes slashed from 30 to 13 that's going to happen no matter how good your writers, directors, and producers are at their jobs.
@@jg3818 except it was the directors who cut it short. HBO wanted 10 eps for S7 and S8 each.

I have read this scene at 15 years old I think, and I am so sad when Robb die (it was my crush lol). I have see the scene at 19 years and the only thing I remember it is the song.
