It's so weird getting to Remix 10 and hearing Air Rally's English audio directly followed by Cheerreader's Japanese audio
Fun Fact: Most of the rhythm games had to avoid resemblance to Japan's rising sun flag and references to Japanese culture
That’s the main reason I find these changes so interesting
@@BeamtheCat Same
Why do they have to remove the Japanese things though?
@@PerfectionReincarnatedTo keep it short, South Korea doesn't forgive Japan for their actions during World War II
@@cosmicminun59 oh ok
The reporter’s Korean voice is so cute ☺️
The wrestler still has the same voice.
@@RubyChocoCookie cool, but what does that have ro do with the comment?
@@Pokeymario Idk
@@RubyChocoCookie ok
우바두바다바 그게 사실이야?
Awesome job. Korean footage of this game is pretty hard to come by.
That’s exactly why I made this video. I’m glad I could make this accessible. The initial inspiration for this video was that I saw a youtuber upload every minigame as well, and it was the only one I could find. But since then, the channel got terminated. So I thought that someone had to document this, and have it be easily found.
i love korean captain tuck's voice so much
it was way higher than i was expecting, has such a nice quality to it
I'm Korean and this video came up in my recommendations suddenly lmao, and ngl i still LOVE the korean localization of samurai hes soooo cool
Figure fighter:
US: Jeb
JP: Jup
KO: *j i p*
I’m pretty sure in the us it’s jab
@@kindlestix8079 no its 100% Jeb listen to it
@@KennethPlaysOfficialit says “jab” tho

TWO?
Thank you for uploading this!! And awesome job!!!
I looked for this strictly because i heard it was different from both the English and Japenese version. I find regional differences in games like that fascinating
my very detailed and unflawed review on the korean version of the best rhythm game:
extremely strange how certain sound queues were handled
✨Superb?✨
Interesting gameplay.
these are my favorite cues for shrimp shuffle by far, they did such a good job!
I'm here for Korean Power Calligraphy
I'm staying for Korean Packing Pests
The only thing changed in Power Calligraphy is the る character (ear) in the big face I'm pretty sure
@@SynoPTL the dancing fellas were also changed
I think I saw you on heaven studios discord
@@AnnaTun congratulations
3:21 is just so perfec- *a random person presses a and b* *teleport sound plays*... mmMMMMmmm
interesting that the air rally “2 3 4” sounds are more like a fade in. weird.
it seems like his voiceline for 2 is just unusually quiet
i don't know if this is an issue in localization or emulator but i've never actually noticed that before now
Korean Cheer Readers is so hilarious to me
Fun fact: that’s just the jp audio, they used the jp or English ones when they thought they fit better if a translation wasn’t completely necessary
Love rap is so different 😭
the world if fever and megamix... hell especially TENGOKU had as many translations as ds. they really went all out with that one. petition for the potential next game to have every language on earth to appease the language nerd in me /hj
Wonder whats going on with those lines on Shrimp Shuffle
It’s a visual bug that happens on emulators
@@BeamtheCat bruh at least you can play the damn game, for some reason shrimp shuffle goes all seizure-like for me, and the visuals for micro-row dont even load,
Did they actually use Comic Sans for Cheer Readers lyrics?
Yup, I believe this is the same for the jpn version too, which use the same sfx
What in the world is the wandering samurai wearing in Samurai slice 2???
Old fashioned korean clothes. Because they were screwed over by japan long ago, Korea has beef with japan and as a result, they heavily censor japanese culture or edit it to be korean.
Korean traditional clothes "Hanbok"
@@SH-tx3lp thanks for clarifying. They also changed some of the buildings in the best plus.
Considering most changes were to remove as much references to japan as possible, I'm surprised rhythm calligraphy was left as is
The most changed in power calligraphy is that the face is slightly different
they REALLY loved packing pests
Cheer Readers - “OK Don’t mind”….
That’s kinda weird.
that's in the original japanese version too. i believe it was intentionally broken english as irony since they were in a library but i got this info from someone else so take it with a grain of salt.
edit: i just got to that part in the video, and it turns out the entire minigame is the same as the japanese version. whoops

여기 한국인보는 사람 클릭
the wandering samurai looks like a mexican cowboy in samurai slice 2 lol
It's korean traditional clothes "Hanbok"
Please russian dub rhythm heaven fever
This korean localization is odd they changed the Japanese clothing to korean clothing like how?
Everything in this game is images, no 3d models. So they just needed to redraw it.
Oh wow, that girl with that red dress in the thumbnail gee i hope nothing bad happened
Did the gust say the n word 1:04:08
No its supposed to be the korean version of "Into You"
