I bought the big kit with hard case and a bunch of bits, seems OK so far. I also have a Craftsman gyro one, this also works but I can tell it will stress my wrist after a while. Spent a summer running screws in and out of equipment racks with traditional manual screwdriver and ended up with a repetitive motion injury. Bought these to help prevent that recurring.

I still have my dad's skil rechargeable screwdriver, it still charges and works but I cant tell you how old it is. I just charged it for my wife about a week ago. Your wife will really enjoy it.

Great review, I just wish I had seen it before I purchased it, this is one oddball screwdriver where the button does nothing and you need to push that collar to get it to work, which makes it totally useless for most applications and uses. I will not be using mine as I had planned to work on laptops because it is not possible to use it to remove or install screws.

Don't reverse your drill bits when removing them from the material, you'll easily snap them off.
Keep the drill running in the cutting direction while pulling out, it makes them super easy to remove.

What your theory about snapping? It unit has reverse function. Its design for a specific job

Unfortunately most of these screwdrivers don't have the power to keep going and you have to use reverse
