- Today we unbox the brand new release from FMS. The Land Rover Series II 88”. In 1/12 its a bit small. All doors, hood and tailgate open up. Full lights. Full interior. Steering wheel moves. The details on this are insane. You even get two different tops to put on. I love this thing. These are by far my favorite land rover ever. Enjoy the video. I admire these things from afar. I won't spend another dime on one after my FMS MB Scaler. It was a beautiful Willys and worked perfectly, but I had no idea how fragile it would be. I broke parts just pulling it out of the box. I am relatively new to the world of RC and had no idea you could buy fully functional models, and that's what these really are. I'm just glad FMS offers cheap spare parts. The wait time sucks though. I'll stick to more user friendly RCs from now on.
Yeah. For a first truck this aint it for sure. Sorry you had a bad experience. These smaller ones and those super scale bigger ones are mainly for just looking at really.
Great video, think im gonna get this instead of the k5 Blazer, already have the fcx24 wagon and as an old Brit this is perfect.

@@DixielandRCI did catch a running video and was concerned by what looked like a lack of modulation and low speed, the suspension looked very stiff also. Eagerly awaiting your running review!

Oh man… i told myself no more fms models….that pick up cab though….😅
The full cab looks good as well. Im just a huge LR nut so all of them i love. Lol.

I will have them on my site this evening more than likely. I left all my paperwork at the store.
What does PTO mean?
Power take off
Basically can add things to it that run off engine power.

@@DixielandRC both. Bed and floor pans were flat sheets of aluminum. Floor pans were removable sheets held down with pan head #3 Phillips bolts. Bed floor was part of the wheel boxes/rear seat boxes
