Nice truck, and presentation of a beautiful peterbuilt, I'm actually getting in my 2023 peterbuilt tomorrow afternoon for my adventure out of Chicago, I will also start recording my experience with driving OTR for anyone who likes the adventure of trucking. Stay safe my friend, see you out there on the road.
Whoever said that doesn’t know anything about luxury or reliability. Peterbilts are built for both, Cadillac is not. Luxury is an opinion but reliability is a fact and Cadillacs are shit
Microwave is nice to have. But I personally recommend airfryer oven like Instant pot mini air fryer. Its 1300W in peak. Make sure to have 2000W inverter. And good luck on the road! Cool truck.
Well smooth ima tell you the led headlights and fog lights are gonna be optional unless they order them when spec the truck or upgrade the trim level...the hood mirrors are kinda janky looking..the aerodynamic square ones look better but I think they cost more they are good for when you're going around corners so that you can see where thies trailer tandems are so you don't clip a curb ..also to see if a stupid 4-wheeler is trying to slide up on your right side.
So good to see a real truck driver reviewing a really good truck... I love the look of the 579 but you've brought up some of there bug bears... I've seen another of your reviews of this truck and having to stand there the whole time with the gas pump is a bitch... hopefully Peterbilt will see this and fix it... I might just post this to them... By the way I'm a truck driver from New Zealand and drive Nissan UD's and Isuzu's in our fleet... horrible beam axle leaf spring front suspensions on them... bang crash bang crash... I've subscribed to you man... keep it up... will be good to see what you get up to in future...😉👍
The Galanz micro oven air fryer is so convenient. I can cook steak, salmon, chicken shrimp. I like using the air fryer to cook fried mushrooms & mozzarella sticks. & the micro to reheat my leftovers. The 3 in 1 use is Dope!
Hey do you have this problem in your truck. Auto engine idle shutdown. The truck turns off every 5 mins. Peterbilt dealership can’t turn it off as this is green emission vehicle. Any suggestion! 2022 Pete!
Awesome vid bud, I was able to get a 2022 579 to test drive for the week since I'm looking to upgrade my 2014 Cascadia. Mines has a Paccar engine 485hp with a 10spd auto, I love the truck but the one I don't like is the windows in the sleeper and the bed, I test drove a 760 Volvo before I got the 579 and I will say they should of made the bed the way Volvo has it to recline and adjust the mattress and the windows they should of done the airplane shade design like the way Volvo did. Otherwise it's a smooth truck .
Nice ride! Peterbilt (PACCAR) makes a nice truck! Pete’s seem to ride a bit better then the KW’s. Take those ridiculous mirrors off! 30 years of truck driving and I’ve never used them and never had an accident because I didn’t have them.
I got same truck 22 plus/minus some of da same features. I got a microwave and food ninja pressure air fryer on truck. Make life and ya pockets alot better
Hey I got the same truck, but waiting on the chips from China to finish it. I was thinking of putting a 43"tv with changing out the mount. Any chance you know the measurements from the top of the bottom bunk to the bottom of the top bunk? I would really appreciate it. Hope you are enjoying it! I'm use to volvos
😂 True. I still love them despite all the electrical gremlins, but I will never lease them. I just turned in my '19 Freightliner Cascadia (first model year of the new gen) 2 days ago after 3 years of reliable service for a '22 KW T680. Hopefully, this first year of the new generation KW is reliable as the Freightliner.
I have the same truc. I hate the location of the hazzard button. Heve almost take my eyes off the road to find it sometimes. Otherwise, i love this truck. Got it in November 2022. I hate that security code roo.
God bless you in your travels. I will say this coming from 38 years on the road. If you don't understand why hood mirrors are put on the maybe truck driving is not for you. Saftey
you don't use the fender mirrors to see who is on your sides? I use them all the time especially when I'm turning it gives me a wide angle to check. Nice truck congrats
Nice if that’s your style if you drove for me you would be in a extended hood 389 with monster size breathers 20” stacks 18 spd manual and 650 hp old school Cat under the hood
Yea Dylan his company just got the bare bones basics..once they found out what peterbilt charges for the nicer options package..they said he'll naw..but atleast he's rolling in a 22 and I'm sure he'll hook it up nicely..his company will probably install an a.p.u. in house its cheaper if they do it themselves..lol
Thanks for the look at your new truck. She is a beauty so congratulations and safe travels.

That's Royal I just got seated in a 2021/2022 Peterbuilt 579. That's nice video.
Well they say Peterbuilts are the Cadillacs of trucks. Keep us posted on how she handles and takes care of you. Ride safe brother and God Speed …..

Appreciate the info
Glad I'm not the only one who loves the air fryer. Makes all my food nice and crispy when I want it instead of mushy like the microwave
Great looking truck. With no APU I hope that they explained about not idling so that you can minimize any problems with the emissions system.
Oh trust me I know from that freightliner I had 😂
Appreciate this video ... fittin to get one ... still wanted to know what them keys went to ...
Looking for more video bro great job👍👍👍👍👍🇵🇰
Just so you know, you have the 80" UltraLoft sleeper. That's the largest sleeper that Peterbilt offers.
Smooth, the air fryer made by Galanz is the best, save hella money cooking my food. If you are still in the market you should go this route
Ok I’ll look into it thanks 🙏🏾
I love the disc brakes. so much better. IMO.

The are polished aluminum Alcoas rims

Get a air fryer bra they work way better than microwave..
Can someone give me info on the fridge? I’m looking to buy one for my truck but can’t find the correct dimensions. I have the same truck. Thanks.
I’ll find out
Is your set up like mine
Is it governed?
Thanks for posting !! Badass! CONGRATULATIONS-!!!❤ ....IM debating between this or the 22 KW T680...this video is helpful 😊
Those kw are nice
I drive both, the Pete is a nicer ride.
I'm pretty sure u can turn lame assist off on that truck I can do it in my2020 t680 and pete is same as kw

It probably had 1,000 miles already because it was the front truck on the delivery setup
kindly check of a company called Green APU before buying , great truck have a nice time with it .
Ok thanks
💯💯💯👍
Are you allowed to leave usa with the truck and go somewhere else if you want I'm trying to figure that out
Yea it coast’s tho
More Royal than a freightliner upgrade for a different model style to do big business
