I made me wondering. Is this the same Max from live is strange 1? Cuz regardless of ending. Max shouldn't try to mess with time and space continium ever again. She saw a vision of tornado and it happend. She knew that Chloe's death will save arcadia. And it happended. IDK how that works but Max should never try that again! But then again, just like Chloe, Max is a dumny who never learns so... XD

I'm new here... awesome video! I am glad I'm not the one that thought that was Jefferson lol! If you look closely, there are resemblances to other LIS characters such as Joyce, Nathan, and even Rachael. It may not be them, but they sure look like them! If Max is in a parallel timeline, who knows what is possible... I already pre-ordered the game and can't wait to play it! Thanks for the great reaction video, Alina 🙂
Hi!!! Awesome video!!! Ahhhhh I’m so happy there’s a new life is strange I played it so many years ago and the trailer looks so awesome!!! I have so many questions! Like will our choices from the first life is strange change what happens in the new one? And I’d love to see you play it!!! And I’m so glad it releases in October Halloween is so awesome!!! And I’m really excited to explore the other parallel worlds that will be awesome 😊

What makes me worry is that Chloe seems to be missing and that the devs may have made her death canon - something i NEVER did, i always chose Chloe over that town. What i like is that her power developed into something else altogether.
I think the reason why Chloe death was made canon is bacause of toxic behavior she had. If only her most inpactfull dialogs wherent removed. She could be a beter character. It's still sad tho.
My guess is they showed so much reticence to make a game about Max again because well, which ending or the original is going to be canonical? Especially when it was up to *the player* and no ending was meant to really be canon. UNLESS this game follows the parallel plane timeline of when she saves Arcadia Bay and no Chloe, which may explain why we do not see her (while leaving the other option still equally “canon” in another equally real parallel universe?) She DOES look amazing in this sequel, does she not? Life is Strange will always be about Max in my view. Nothing that bears the name “Life is Strange” without her can ever hold a candle.
Maybe they give us the option to choose which ending we take as in lis2
I'm guessing that they'll go to ridiculous lengths not to confirm either possible ending of LiS1 as someone will still be annoyed either way.
@@DylanMaciel. The problem is that, if they do that, they still would have to redo multiple scenes for Max's alternate life and partner and, with the exception of Chloe, I think everyone has their own strongly-held ideas of who Max ended up with in the Bay timeline.
At 2:41, there is a chick next to Max that is not Sophie. The girl has blonde hair and is wearing a cap that just happens to be about the same color as Chloe's hair was in the original. Makes you wonder.. Is that Chloe???

Based off the extended gameplay and director interview released on Thursday, the player will chose whether Chloe is alive or dead in this game. There's not a hint or implication from the game director that Chloe makes any appearance at all. Max does carry a photo of Chloe with her, regardless of her being alive or not. Deck Nine might set up a "Chloe appearance" the same way Dontnod did in LIS 2, with either a text message or phone call from Chloe if she is chosen to be alive, or a call from David or Joyce if she is chosen to be dead. I hope Deck Nine doesn't go that route because it would feel like lazy writing and a shitty attempt at fanservice.

My main takeaway from Max's new powers is that theoretically this means that she can tap into alternative timelines in which Chloe simultaneously dies from and survives the ending of the first game, regardless of which outcome the player chose (having your cake and eating it too 😊). But hey, that's just me being optimistic for some kind of Chloe cameo 🤞
OK People calm down, we got one trailer to give us the premise of the game. We don't know if we WILL see Chole or NOT. Maybe in some timeline Chloe will be there maybe not. And Maybe Max will tell the Story of Chloe to Someone of major Importance to Max! let's Just see what happens First! Geez! And come on people, do you want Max to stay 18 forever? And It Seems Max got a Power Boost.
