Glad to help. Thanks for taking the time to drop a comment and all your support. If you don't mind me asking what kind of content would be helpful to you. Could you offer any suggestions on what you would like to see in the future?
Thanks, Don for the video. Right in the nick of time. Made me change the way I had decided to make the catch. Thank you for all you do for the Matrix-Gold community.
Excellent! Hope it helps. I will be posting other ways to make the catch in the future. I think some of them are really cool ways to design the clap and it will offer more options. Just trying to find the time. lol Thank you for your support and the comment. Can't tell you how much it means.
Don, helps tremendously! I have been a bench jeweler for 51 years and still find new things to learn. Please keep it up. If I can provide any help, let me know. @@donsjewelrymakingandjapantrave
I hope it helps. There are so many other ways to attach the clasp to these types of earrings. I hope to get around to posting them in the future. You have been with me from the very beginning I can't thank you enough.
Hi Sir, I don't have option "Change Seam" on my ribbon bar, also when I type the command it says "unknown command". Do you maybe know the reason of this issue? Thanks!
Try gvchangrseem. Or maybe gxadjustseem. You can always click on the icon in the ribbon bar and it will show you the command line prompt for future reference. gv is for all parametric commands.
Hey, I was wondering if it possible to make a hinge in a ball so you can open it in the middle and clase it with a click mechanism. Thank you. Your videos are great!
Sure. But you would probably want to add some kind of safety to it. That is maybe the issue. You don't want it to stick out and catch on fabric. It would take some thinking to work it all out. I can see where you are going with this. An interchangeable bail for a pendant. Great idea. I'll give it some thought and see what I can work out and get back to you.
Without an image it is a little difficult to tell what is going on. Just a few things though. Make sure you have a closed watertight item. Also make sure that it is not completely a circle you have to have some kind of opening or break in the item. If you want, you can send me a picture to my email, and I will try to take a look at it for you.
Thankyou Don, this really helps for someone like me starting new. Appreciate it!!!!
