Traveling WV: Burger Carte

SMITHERS, W.Va. (WCHS) - It simply doesn’t get any more red, white, and blue than the small-town burger joint.
Unfortunately, this iconic slice of Americana is slipping away due to the advent of fast food giants like McDonald’s, Wendy's, and Burger King. However, West Virginia has always been a bit of a throwback with several burger joints standing strong in the face of sheer corporate volume and gigantic advertising budgets.
Case in point is Burger Carte, located in the small town of Smithers in Fayette County.
