I mean, she's right, that's how some people perceive the show, but not all. We're much, much, much better off than those living in the fictional world of TMITHC. History repeats itself, yes, but we're nowhere near a repeat of Hitler's reign of terror. I prefer to enjoy the show for what it really is: pure, historical/sci-fi, what-if fiction about our world if Hitler and the Japanese had really won. Any comparisons drawn between it and our world today should be focused on what Jason said in a past interview--that horror and sad things can become mundane (such as murder, poverty, etc). I think the resistance part of it is more relevant for third-world and communist countries that truly are living under oppressive regimes.
