Is that a DJI Pocket 3? Image quality looks good, how robust is it? Would you be happy to use it on a shoulder or chest mount whilst skiing? I’m arriving with the snow on Saturday, next week looks promising😊
Hi John, Yes its a pocket 3 and only on 1080p 60fps not the full 4k its everything it is hyped up to be. But it is not robust like an action cam. I would not ski with it on a mount. We have done some skiing filming with it just holiding it and skiing along side other people but its not robust in anyway. Also snow, rain and sand will kill it.
Hi Andy I’m stuck between Obergurgl and Kaprun. But multiple comments about the wind in Kaprun and conditions is putting me off, is it really a problem and do you miss out on a lot of skiing there? Also is it easy to ski down to Zell from Kaprun? Hotel is based in Kaprun. Thanks
Hi if it is windy in Kaprun it could also be windy in Obergurgl the wind has only kept the glacier closed for 2 days this winter and that was last week when the whole of Austria had issues. The bigger issue was not the lifts but the plains being sent to Prague! Even if the glacier gets closed which is not very often the there is still plenty more skiing to be had. You can not ski from Kaprun to Zell am See you take a short bus ride from Kaprun to the first lift station to enter the Zell am See ski area. What hotel are you looking to stay at?
We’ll be coming on Saturday! I’ve heard of roadworks on the a10 coming from the airport, do you know anything about this and what kind of delays to expect?
@@LazyMcCrazy So there are two ways to get from Salzburg airport to Zell am See one is via Lofa the other is close to the a10. Most of the transport companies where possible are coming via Lofa so there is no real impact from the a10
