Had the same window problem on my Z. As a temporary bandaid I used to lightly hit my door from the interior while i was holding the window button up. Worked for a while.
I bought my 350z (second car) in full about 6 months ago. But I called my insurance company before the purchase. I didn't want to be paying a crazy premium for it when it's sitting my garage 6months out the year. Luckily, they gave me a good deal And my upcoming insurance premium went down too. :)

Okay just gonna say if you buy a car and don't check with your insurance about how much it'll cost you're kind of dumb lol. First thing I do because that needs to be accounted for when buying a car and knowing if you can afford it
I think the grounds are just dirty, can probably be fixed. You are right though, they aren't that expensive and if Ima open the door up to fix them, I might as well replace! Appreciate your comment my friend!!
So I been watching the channel for a bit, and I'm buying a z, I am 17, I know how to drive manual a lil bit, can u give me tips and tricks so I don't ruin my z
Don’t rest your hand on the shifter Don’t rest your foot on clutch pedal Rev match when down shifting Don’t cheap out on parts. Especially Nissans. OEM for the most part Keep up your basic maintenance. VQ isn’t as unreliable as you hear online.
Bro I got a g37s earlier this year and the first thing I wanted to do was rev match, I just had to learn what speed I need to go with that gear I’m in and the rest came naturally
I’ve had mine for about 6-8 months now? Absolutely love the thing man. The community behind these cars is great too, they can all drive and are great to cruise in and out of traffic with 💯. Most can drift too if you’re into that. Definitely recommend a Muffler and Resonator delete and new exhaust tips if you get one or if you already have a 350z. Cost maybe $250-300 and it sounds absolutely incredible. 🫡

My 05 revup had the same problem with the driver side window. A temporary fix is to open and shut the door while holding the button. I think that just shakes the motor enough for it to start working again. But ultimately you will have to replace that motor.

I've heard that if you take the panel off the door, there is a reset button for the window that you can use to fix it.
