I love the finisher when he cut the body in half. Love it more when he do it to character i hate like priest in side missions in velen. Super satisfying
Use the beast of the white orchard trophy or any trophy with a chance for decapitation. Then grind your level upto 50-60s Keep the enemy scaling off Enjoy your gory gameplay
06:42 Im hoping Ive just missed a perk or level requirement but in the new update I havent performed that move in 10s of hours of gameplay. I hope it hasnt been stealth censored or anything.
@@DeathWalkthroughs Yeah its happened like twice in 40 to 50 hours of gameplay. I can still create the same effect with rend as well though but not trigger the actual animation. So yeah for some reason its the rarest finisher by far No surprising though the game is sadly so broken its the first game to make my series x fully crash and shutdown rather than just crash to my homescreen.
Yes, it is. You just need to be close enough (to be able to arc your swing through the entire torso) and to apply enough force. A properly sharp blade helps of course.
No unless you are capable of cutting a tree barehand, otherwise you will make a huge nasty gash, not a clean cut through muscle, bone and armor, also the being close thing is a lie, the sword needs acceleration.
For a normal person, absolutely not. Cutting bones with a sword would be incredibly difficult, let alone an entire ribcage. IRL cutting people apart is hard as hell, and dismemberment would be very rare on a medieval battlefield. That being said, Geralt is a superhuman mutant with lightning reflexes and speed and it looks really cool, so I'm gonna let logic slide on this one.
If the parry animations were more visible and exaggerated like in AC3/4 and there were a lot more finishers in general this would be the best combat game by far
I always wondered why the bandits here look like naked drunks. There's loose gear everywhere from the dead soldiers. Chisel off the symbols and break off bits until the armor fits you and you're good to go. Not to mention with all the nilfgaardian weapons...
When a human enemy is at a low enough health, and you know the next hit will kill, press the heavy or light attack button, ONCE, and don't press anything else, you should get a finisher a majority of the time. Its possible you can't get them with heavy attacks, but I'm sure that hitting an almost dead enemy, with a light attack, and not pressing anything else will get you a finisher
Still no explanation anywhere online on how to do these? Are they random? Do they change depending on weapon? Do certain weapons have certain finishers?
Ok so if you I'm know your next hit will kill, you press the button to kill them, but, ONLY PRESS IT ONCE, if you kill them with a light or heavy attack, and don't press any other button after you swing, you SHOULD get a finisher, its not 100 percent guaranteed, but you will definitely get finishers alot more frequently
It also helps to use Axii to stun enemies. On enemies that are a lot lower level than you, Axii plus a strong attack is almost always an instant kill with a finisher animation.
Can someone tell me in which cases geralt gets his clothes dirty because of the blood? I never see It, dont know if It is because my armor is too dark to see It or something else i am forgeting, i only remember getty dirty from blood at the begining of the game with the first armor. Do i have to hit or get hitten?

Perhaps.
Mortal kombat 😅
ive put over 200 hrs plus, and some of these are new to me
Some are dlc finishers
@@reachforever4864 all finishers are available in the main game. but maybe some of them were added when the dlcs came out

It wasn't. Must be a bug or something xD
It's just hard to perform, on PC with the "Ultra Gore 2" mod it's easier

It’s in a pack!!
Im playing 1.32 old gen and this finisher is more or less usual
1:19 - Is it actually possible to cut someone’s torso in half like that with just 1 swing? I know it’s a game, but still curious.

why dont i have all these finishers?
Are the IQ's of humans in the Witcher universe extremely low? You'd think after a couple massacres people would leave Geralt ALONE.

Wait are these mods….or the actual game decapitations
They are in game
No mods
No thats the game
Shame, other than cutscene triggered finishers (dettlaff), we cant do the same to monster enemies.
