      How those guys are even in the NBA tbh? They would not get a spot in a French Pro A roster

    Wemby is a great player and is gonna be great for a long time but he may not even be a top 2 Spurs rookie ever let alone the best rookie ever
    Rookie Wilt Chamberlain:
    37.6 PPG
    27.0 RPG
    2.3 APG
    49.3 TS%
    (+3.0 rTS%)
    Anchored the second best defence in the league, and fourth best defence in Warriors history:
    1959 Warriors went from
    (32-40) Record -> (49-26) Record
    (-0.9 rDRTG) -> (-4.3 rDRTG)
    We all know who the best rookie is ever and it’s Wilt Chamberlain

      Wilt averaged 46.4 MPG durning his rookie season. Per 36 minutes Wilt only averaged 3.3 PPG more than Wemby. Best overall rookie if you want to count points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks Wemby is number 1. He is the only rookie in NBA history to have averages of 20+ PPG 10+ RPG 3+ APG 1+ SPG and 3.5+ BPG. In NBA history their has only been 3 other players to put up this statline in any season Hakeem, Robinson, Kareem 3 of the greatest centers to ever play this game and Wemby is doing it as a rookie

      @@Fawnswine Wilt was more all around as a rookie than wemby is and we all know if blocks were counted Wilt would of averaged 5+. Also as far as rebounding Wemby doesn’t touch Wilt in his rookie season as Wilt averaged 27.0.

      @@patek9789Ur comparing a man who played against short accountants to a guy playing in a more difficult era

      @@mrcrackdonald_1 the average height of centers in the 1960’s was 6’10 and Wemby is playing in a watered down league.
      There are literally 11 teams in NBA today under .500. NINE teams haven't cracked 30 wins with FIVE not even touching 20 wins.

      @@patek9789 Players are both taller and more athletic now. Wilt was a freak of nature but the only other good player of the time was Bill Russell, who was much shorter than Wilt
