- Today I am unboxing and reviewing the Neewer Photography Backdrop & Green Screen Kit. Initial views on the Neewer Backdrop is that the poles and stands are strong, well made and the fabrics for the three pieces provided is very nice. They feel silky and once ironed out, can be very effective. The three backdrops are white, black and green. The system is easy to setup and you can setup a green screen overlay in OBS. It took me maybe 5 min by myself and it is easy to adjust. The system is also a portable green screen and packs up very small into its very own carry bag.
I need a much bigger room to get the entire system setup to its full potential. Overall, very happy with the system and will be interesting to see the photos and green screen effects I will be producing.

What isn't intuitive is how to use the clamps and the weights you mention. But you didn't cover that.

There is a tonnes of channels without views. Obviously tags if placed wrong will kick you out even quicker from a scene. I know what I am saying. I got exactly same problem.
so how does it actually work when using it... creases should make it hard to use properly ?
Hi Jonas. Hope all is well. I have bought extra clips to help hold the material in place down the sides and also weight it down the bottom to get a smoother look. Even spraying the cloth with a light spray of clean water will help reduce the wrinkles / folds in it. Some people say you can lightly steam it when in place and stretched out. But I have not required to do that yet. Also - I do not stretch it too much to damage the fabric / material. There's a sleeve for the top cross bar
How to avoid the fold when you hand it up?? It’s driving me crazy?
Hi. The folds are annoying. I managed to flatten them out buy placing a weight along the bottom part - like books or smooth objects that do not catch on the fabric and ruin it. With regards to the side - I ordered more of the clips and just pulled the material a little tighter and placed clips all the way down both side and top. It makes it much smoother. I have also read that you can steam the fabric when in place and stretched to remove the finer creases and folds. But I have not needed to do that as the clips seems to do the job.

@@lulaenparis Yeah - the folds are less when stretching the fabric a little bit. Not too tight - you do not want to damage the fabric.
