In this video, you will learn how to use the Max Lighting export option. There is a fair bit of confusion as to what this does and we begin to explore that in this video.

should I enable max lighting and high refinement wtih path tracing tracing on?
Hello, just wanted to say thanks for creating such great video tutorials! They have been incredibly helpful during my transition from school to work. I know this is pretty basic but was wondering if you would be interested in doing a quick Revit tutorial using the stair tool? I find it incredibly annoying to use and know that if I could just learn a few hacks I'd be set. Not trying to do anything overly complicated, more suited to commercial use like L-stairs with integrated landings and ramps. Also custom guard and railing panels that always show up crooked.
Rich, thanks for the kind words and I am happy to help you in the transition. It is an important transition to power through! I have been meaning to make a revit stairs video (probably a number of them) as well as rails. Rails on stairs can be confusing and messy for sure.
Super explanation. Thank you. #Timesaver
Glad it was helpful!
Good day! Great videos!
I think this same Japanese person asked a question on the official website (this was in April 2020). And yes .. no one answered anything definitely ..But .. someone with the "Palpek1" nickname wrote that there is a difference for video rendering - He said that this could break the lighting system. I have no idea what it means))) and I think it doesn't matter now))) I think the important point is that we have some changes when we export the video.
Also look at the old icon (2019) - there is a drawing of video frames. Perhaps this function turns on the additional rendering mode for each frame, and not an average, approximate value. And for one frame - the difference is almost invisible. This is not an accurate answer))) and still have questions.. but we can try to test on/off with a video.
I agree with you in 2019, it was different and might have done something else but I just cannot see if this is doing anything now.
Ivy material (like lumion)?
What do you mean by that?
