This is one of my favourite decks. I found your channel looking for reviews of a couple decks I’ve had my eye on and I love your channel a lot! Thank you for doing what you do!
This deck is brilliant one of my favourites! I use it all the time. Has not failed me yet. The box has become a bit worn but the readings are so accurate. I also am not a fan of shuffling like a casino dealer but cause of the card stock I do it with this deck.
There’s a reason people keep discussing the cardstock. There are so many options card creators have for card stock, and there are plenty of beautifully riffle-shufflable decks made of smooth as butter and light cardstock that are much much better choices. Best well-known examples I have of this would be the Morgan Greer and the Albano Waite. Perfection. I haven’t read through more than the top few comments but it’s good to note that this is pip deck, so that’s why “not a lot is going on” in the minors..
I went to the bookshop today. I saw this deck and I fell in love immediately. But I needed to buy from a webshop. Now I am waiting but I feel so much connection. This seems so perfect to me. I hope they will be my mates for so long ❤️
I lovvvve this deck I went through so many decks online trying to find one that spoke to me that had a guidebook included and this one I fell in love with the moment I saw it! I got it in the mail and it sung with me the moment I pulled it out of the outer packaging! I’m a tarot newbie so still learning but I’ve gotten some great reads from it that definitely spoke true. I’m horrible at shuffling cards (always have been) so the thinness actually helps me. All in all loving this deck as a beginner.
I just got this deck yesterday and agree about the flimsiness of the cards, but everything else I love! I absolutely love how the Justice card is depicted with a brain and heart - weighing of logic and emotions - I thought that was very, very clever.
very nice review thank you for sharing. I am loving these cards. I ordered them and they say they were delivered but i haven't seen them. So i am going to just order another set as i am not sure if i lost them or they just weren't delivered. Looking forward to working with them and that book looks great. Well, Bright side , if i do find the first deck, i will have two in case the cards don't hold up :-) Blessings and thanks again !
Thanks for your unboxing. I tend to like thinner card stock because I like to riffle shuffle, so I was intrigued, when I heard of the complaints about how thin this deck was. I have to say - it's thin! I see how 78 cards fit in your hand! The artwork is gorgeous and would be perfect for my Oracle of Oddities decks. I am just a little sad that it is so thin that I may beat it up too much with my tarot slinging style.
I'm a huge fan of Claire's decks and I'm so sick of people complaining about the cardstock of this deck. I love when the cards bend like that because it makes it easy for me to shuffle. I want this deck so bad but I'm a beginner and I'm afraid I won't be able to read with this deck because it's pretty pip-ish. I have all her other decks that are in stock and might just get this one because the cards are so pretty.
Extremely disappointing cardstock aside, the complaints aren’t against the beautiful artwork. There are shufflable decks that are smooth and good quality that are light and bendable that don’t feel like this one. Creators have so many options for cardstock; my feeling is that nobody understands how this happened! Lol
I have never seen a review about this deck. This is my first review I have watched. This is my favourite deck. The card stock doesn’t bother me at all. I have used this deck a lot and they are like new. Especially with all the shuffling. The readings are also spot on. The art work is also fabulous. I think to many people do reviews without utilising the deck. Sometimes using the deck for a while truly helps bond and appreciate a deck
I hate thick cardstock, so this is right up my alley. ❤️ I have really bad arthritis and carpal tunnel, so something so easy to ripple shuffle makes it an instant love for me.
Thank you. Card stock looks sad. Wonder what the card stock is like on her momento mori oracle. I think all you get is a pamphlet booklet for that one.
I'm going to have to check that oracle out. I do like how these cards read though. The book you get with it really is pretty thorough so i feel like you are getting your moneys worth. But yes, you have to be extra careful when handling the cards (which is hard for me haha)
I have this deck. No issues at all. It is my most used deck. If people are composing about bending decks they need to make sure they store them flat and not on their side
It could be hard for beginners as there isn't a scene being played out in most cards. So I would keep the guidebook by you while you use it, and maybe if you feel like trying another deck out to learn on find one with scenes and then come back to this deck. Hopefully that makes sense. But practice and you'll pick it up ❤
Actually I was surprised at how well it's held up! I'm honestly not that bothered by thin card stock, but I know a lot of people want thicker stock. It still feels like new, just a bit worn around the edges.
I actually REALLY like them! They are a bit thin so I need to be extra conscious about how i shuffle, but they read wonderfully. I just used them for a pick a card reading that I will be uploading shortly!
See the history of anatomy books is a gruesome thing. They did very unethical disturbing things to inmates and people of color to learn about the body. As a person who is a nurse and has a degree in medical science, I have mixed feelings about anatomy drawings wondering their origin and who was the person they modeled it on? It's very interesting to research the origin of anatomy and physiology.
For some reason , I'm reallllly drawn to this deck 🥰
It's a gorgeous deck and the guidebook is really nice. ❤
I love love love love this unboxing! Even the sunlight and the shadow of the tree outside are tying everything together this soft ambiance
❤❤❤❤

Card stock never bothers me. Artistry of the card itself is what sells me. This deck is giving me 1800's med school vibes.

This deck is incredible. Spot on readings. Truly it’s the only deck I could own. Brilliant. My cards are still perfect after years of use

Just wanted to share: the cardstock has been upgraded, they feel luxurious and can handle a lot!
So awesome to know! Thank you!

Love the art work an the guidebook but do worry about flimsy Chardstock.. love your reviews✨️🌙🙏💜

This deck is so gorgeous to read with, and in all honesty, I've had it for a couple years and the card stock still holds up. ❤️

I love your voice and commentary it's so adorable
Awww thank you so much! ❤
Thanks for the review! I wonder if the book explains the flowers used in the card, like if there’s any representative for the flowers used?
I believe theres a mention here or there, but I'd have to search the book, which I cant atm.
Wicked Moonlight thanks for your response:) no worries, can always do so when you have time ☺️
I hate thick cardstock, so this is right up my alley. ❤️ I have really bad arthritis and carpal tunnel, so something so easy to ripple shuffle makes it an instant love for me.
i can tell you that it has held up really well so far
@@WickedMoonlight1 Thank you for letting me know!! :)
It's beautiful
Loved your review on this tarot set! Thank you!😊
Thank you so much!
@@WickedMoonlight1, you're very welcome!😄

I can't tell if I should buy the antique one or the previous modern... which one is better for a first timer?
I have this deck if this helps. The guide book is very good and accurate. I use it alot and the readings are very spot on
Buy or make a card press so the cards keep their shape better and keeps out moisture.
I have this deck. No issues at all. It is my most used deck. If people are composing about bending decks they need to make sure they store them flat and not on their side
I’m a beginner and this is my first tarotdeck, I just feel it kind of hard to read the meaning of some cards. How can I get better and understand?

I think you can take the Marsella Tarot as a reference. Instead of the Waider one
How has this held up over the last year?
Actually I was surprised at how well it's held up! I'm honestly not that bothered by thin card stock, but I know a lot of people want thicker stock. It still feels like new, just a bit worn around the edges.
@@WickedMoonlight1 thank you! I like that worn feeling of them but was worried they would rip
I havent had one rip yet. 🤞
Beautiful set! Lol I’m curious how they’re treating you after talking all that shit lol 😜
I actually REALLY like them! They are a bit thin so I need to be extra conscious about how i shuffle, but they read wonderfully. I just used them for a pick a card reading that I will be uploading shortly!
That’s good ☺️
@@katherinequinn2382 yeah! if only uploading didn't take forever haha. But you would totally love these.
@@katherinequinn2382 hahaha YES! it would be a beautiful collage
