Dana * So Clear * Brookside Tv Theme

This recording though (not perfect) gives the listener some idea of what the 45rpm vocal version would have sounded like had it been commercially released way back in 84, as the vocal theme tune to Brookside and titled So Clear. This has been requested by so many fans of Dana and from fans of the tv show itself. Well here it is at last, recorded from the tv show Ladybirds.

That's no coincidence: in 1982 the Brookside composers Dave Roylance and Steve Wright, as a fictitious band L'Orchestre Electronique, produced a covers album called "Sound Waves" (or "Greatest Synthesizer Hits" in some countries) which included their own attempt at Equinoxe 5.

I never liked the theme from 'Brookside' and have certainly never watched the show.
That said, anything by Dana is *very* welcome!
The theme was composed by the late Dave Roylance who might be better known for the 'Shake 'n' Vac' TV commercial.
