When u opened the lid of the cooker ..the rubber washer was unseen on the lid. Do you use pressure cook that way OR it was a photo reshoots? I ask it bcs I found it a bit unnatural
Hey the rubber washer is there on the lid, since the design of the lid is such it might not be clearly visible. But yes the cooker is always supposed to be used with the rubber washer.

you can add all these khada masala? then toh yeh ho gayi masala khichdi ... how about adding black pepper long pepper haldi to ghee used in papad churi ... then it will become ayurvedic medicine for something: *papadyadi churyam* ... waise i have seen gujarati plain khichdi made with whole black pepper corn ... gujarati make sweet kadhi to go with plain khichdi
Rice & dal is generally the same proportion used. We can definitely use more rice than dal. But the quantity of dal more than rice is a new variation and 4 cups of water 🤔
Hey, It’s 3 cups of water. I think in the description the incorrect amount was written by mistake but if you watch the video it’s correct there. Sorry about that. Also in my way, by adding more dal, the protein content of the khichdi increases; if you increase the rice proportion, all you are doing is adding more starch and more carbs to your khichdi na. So try it my way for a change. I’m sure you will like it ❤
