"We were out strolling across a fiord one day when one of the local matadors came out of his tree house and flung a load of old scimitars and guillotines out that he'd got cluttering up his wine cellar and apparently rather a large proportion of them landed on my wife causing her to snuff it without much more ado."
The Python's clearly missed Cleese. This was not too bad, had some good bits, but some of the other Season 4 episodes were, IMO, dreadful by Monty Python standards.
@kenny brown4920 I thought it was pretty good. But as the season went on...things got weird and rather sad. By the end, they were all over the place and had lost all cohesion. ✌️
I love this episode, such an underrated fever dream type of episode
Utter genius.
My heart broke when MP ended, and I had to go back to bed, after my father had dragged me out to watch it with him.

Carol with a flamethrower. That IS frightening!
Wow, the alternate endings really made the whole sketch!
No, they didn't.
Strangest episode of Monty Python I've even seen.
The precursor to the Sopranos ending.
Eric Idle certainly did love his football references.
Well I don't agree with that Malcolm, err.... Quite frankly, the only bit I liked was er this bit with me right now!
That flame thrower looks incredibly dangerous!
It's like a really odd dream, isn't it?
Ah yes, they speak the truth there, fires everywhere over here. I blame the dragons and Black Metal artists.
Well, how about a sudden ending?
(Blackout)
No, he really is. I notice that too; he was skinny during season 4.
When this has been posted, UA-cam was 2 years old.
The funny thing is the Eric Idle constantly wore wigs in the show , as he had very long hair to hide. 😂😂😂
Genial, gracias por subir este material
Gotta go he's getting away...there he is!!
Tell that to the guy who's opening the door for her as she exits!
The critics part was clearly pinched by Fry and Laurie for their The Critics sketch.
I got used to it out east.
Slow fade?
Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnno.
why was he thin? i wonder..
what flamethower isn't?

'The Golden Age of Ballooning' was outstanding.
