Stopped playing it 5 years ago and to me the best season was when secret paladin got balanced. Games had some pace, control, mid range, and specialists. Sad to see that they still have world finals decided/ended instantly on lucky draw or overpowered shenanigans, even though the decision to start and stick to Mage twice was poor effort. Possible additions: -Make the first drawing card visible. For the ahead player doesn't change much but the losing player can play and plan to survive a little more. -Block hero and board damage (immunity phase 1 and 2) in the first 2 turns for planning and building turns only. -Reduce high value card power creep: "summon a copy of this" wasn't enough? -Add mid game mulligan and/or if your health reaches 15/below 15. -Increase player base health points. -Allow a losing player to pay health points once per game to "redraw". -Reducing turn time but increasing game time would improve playability. -Introduce best of three between each deck clash so RNG has less impact. Aim is to add strategic gameplay, power balancing, and comeback mechanics.
I loved that priest lethal in game 2. While its not the most impressive play done in a championship, its just so clean and id easily miss it myself, when under such pressure
@@davidevans6755 he just throwing cards that he can play, no thoughts whatsoever. I dont watch him regularly, is he usually play that fast ? or the standard meta right now is that braindead ? this is just like watching a casual standard player. shame, this is a yearly event with only 11k views and I didnt even hear that the world tournament is starting. the news suddenly pop up on reddit, ig or some shit I forgot
Imagine playing hearthstone 16 hours a day everyday and having several breakdowns for a shot at winning $100k. ONE competitive player in this game makes a respectable sum for grinding themselves into the ground and it’s likely not the same person each year.
10 years and they still run the same terrible layout used for competitive matches, like bruh half the times you cant see what their discover choices are. 10 years lmao
You know i bet hearthstone tournaments would get a lot more viewership if you had actual women and good looking women casting. I cant even watch them with these 2 🙄🙄😣😣
The Sharpshooter top deck on game 1 and Primordial Drake top deck on game 3 were insane.
Spoiler block
Stop
@@jamesbott3788i respectfully disagree. Dont get me wrong, i hate the like-farm comments. But this one is actually useful

How is it a dead game with a $300,000 prize pool?@@hurleycapetown8420
Love this comment.
Pocket train so deserving he’s actually insanely consistent and smart dedicated player. Good for him
Playing mage against tier 1 decks wasn't smart. But at least the decks at this worlds weren't super unbalanced.
Well deserved, PocketTrain dominated this tournament
most boring championship and final
Is HS dead? Why was this done remotely at their own homes? 🤷
@@rogerh2694 no more budget

Is this the last hearthstone E sports there will ever be?
Just here to see what's happening to HS and sounds like not much having a championship done at their own homes 😂
Can we get deck codes?
Luck testing tool 😂
that's some bullshit, the winning scenario requires good draw instead of tactics
Heart of luck stone.
Didn't know Nelly Furtado is a HS fan!
not on stage anymore like the first champsionship ?????
Exactly my thoughts. No budget for that but can see why with internal disruptions at Blizzard.
lol this is the lamest grand final ever
Yeah I agree, poor championship and pretty dreadful final

Jesus the budget for this was like 3 bucks?
I don’t understand the snake oil play. Why did pelegos not change his health to 3?
Pelagos makes the stats higher of the two.

how tf can the videos be that delayed..
State of the game 2024 lol.
Blizzard ruined such a great game by adding Demonhunter class I quit just because of that
Достойный финал для этого рофлотурика.
How did snake oil heal?!
Pelagos on the board allows it to go back to 7 health since it was targeted by a spell
Would contestants be able to watch the live feed of the tournament while playing? How is cheating minimised when they play from home?
There's a delay
