I know its been a while but i haven't been able to confirm where the proper spot to save the game and reset. Im more than 9000 encounters deep for shiny tepig and in afraid that ive been doing it wrong. (The spot ive saved is when bianca says "ok, then!"). Is this the right spot?
@@Zelda_vl Nearing 3000. It's been an on-and-off thing every so often. At this rate I gotta just set an alarm to do 100 resets each night. It's a shame I can't stream it, my internet is bafflingly bad.

When I’m doing it the id number doesn’t change is that gonna affect if it’s shiny or not?
The id number is tied to your save, so it wont affect the shiny odds
