I was watching (listening) to a bunch of UA-cam teaching videos today. It's 3 a.m. and I'm sitting down creating my logo. Just as I finished, you just said, "Create something awesome today." I finally like a logo I created for my own company.
I've been completely slacking on my channel but this really motivates me to get going again!!! Also, last time I checked you were still under 100K subs and now you've blown that out of the water! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

I know this ain't as relevant as it was an example but: "...less then an hour invested in the process of making this video..." Did you take into account the pre-production (topic planning, script writing, camera setup etc the stuff you do before hitting the rec-button) and the things after the post-production regarding the upload process to UA-cam (tags, creating thumbnails, shares on social media) or do you use an automated system for those as there are repeating elements in your description? Thank you for your response - great videos! Just found your channel yesterday and I can't get enough (so much great content).
Hi rob, what type of content creation do you think is the best? For example video or written? I find that I can write content and then make a video out of it, and the video becomes easier since I already basically have a script to work from. Sometimes viceversa. Doing both is taxing sometimes though. Maybe you can do a video about written vs video? I just got into this online marketing thing and i feel like its opened up a new world for me. I don't even look at the internet in the same way anymore lol. Working on building up my site for that adsense account now :). Keep up the good work man!
Lion Heart I would say that both is just the best strategy, Video can make your written content on a blog go up in search because people will stay on the page longer. Writing and article means you can write better video descriptions not to mention transcripts, which helps it rank better in UA-cam.

+Donald Fleshman III Stock Photo sites or sell them directly in high volume at a low price in Gumroad to people like me who do marketing and keep 95% of the profits, sell 100 photos at $5 and people will buy that in a heartbeat just because and you will sell a ton. And you can still sell individual photos on stock photo sites at that point. You can also sell stock video. You can also sell photoshop action and lightroom presets.
I love this video and would love to learn more and go deeper about passive income. Creating content for me isn't the difficult part, it's about intelligently marketing it to be successful that I'd really like to learn more about. Thanks so much for all you share!
I will definitely go deeper on this. The main thing in marketing the right way is what I call PoP. People over Profits, People over Products, People over Process, People over Pixels, People over Promoting. Be human, Create Value, be transparent.

Awesome video. Some ideas if you haven't made videos on them already: I would love to see a video about passive income with regard to successfully marketing and managing print-on-demand. Most of my sales are brick-and-mortar from either the art gallery I belong to or art shows and such where people can really see the quality of my fractals in person on canvas prints of varying sizes before they will commit to the purchase. But I have a ton of files that I could seed out to POD sites, so I would love to know what are good POD sites that get a lot of traffic and sales, what products people are buying (I hear smartphone cases are very popular), and how and where I can step up my promotion, be it through Facebook, Twitter or other networks. Also, I would love to see a video that compares and contrasts the often steep print-on-demand commission versus the cost of ordering your own prints, keeping your own inventory and running your own store, be it from your own website, Ebay, Amazon or maybe an art- or design-driven e-commerce site. Or even a hybrid of print-on-demand where you get an order from a customer and submit an order yourself to a digital printing service and have it shipped to the customer, if there's a model for that. But this can be kept design-relevant by going over good shopping cart software/plugins, security measures, overall UX/UI tips for what makes an engaging store that compels people to buy, key differences between successful and unsuccessful shops, stuff like that. And then I can research e-commerce separately from there. Thanks for this great video!

+Donald Fleshman III Stock Photo sites or sell them directly in high volume at a low price in Gumroad to people like me who do marketing and keep 95% of the profits, sell 100 photos at $5 and people will buy that in a heartbeat just because and you will sell a ton. And you can still sell individual photos on stock photo sites at that point. You can also sell stock video. You can also sell photoshop action and lightroom presets.

Definitely enjoyed this. Started looking for my own ways not too long ago. A website has been at the forefront in my mind for the longest, only thing holding me back so far is just me. Awesome video. Some ideas if you haven't made videos on them already: I would love to see a video about passive income with regard to successfully marketing and managing print-on-demand. Most of my sales are brick-and-mortar from either the art gallery I belong to or art shows and such where people can really see the quality of my fractals in person on canvas prints of varying sizes before they will commit to the purchase. But I have a ton of files that I could seed out to POD sites, so I would love to know what are good POD sites that get a lot of traffic and sales, what products people are buying (I hear smartphone cases are very popular), and how and where I can step up my promotion, be it through Facebook, Twitter or other networks. Also, I would love to see a video that compares and contrasts the often steep print-on-demand commission versus the cost of ordering your own prints, keeping your own inventory and running your own store, be it from your own website, Ebay, Amazon or maybe an art- or design-driven e-commerce site. Or even a hybrid of print-on-demand where you get an order from a customer and submit an order yourself to a digital printing service and have it shipped to the customer, if there's a model for that. But this can be kept design-relevant by going over good shopping cart software/plugins, security measures, overall UX/UI tips for what makes an engaging store that compels people to buy, key differences between successful and unsuccessful shops, stuff like that. And then I can research e-commerce separately from there. Thanks for this great video!
