I installed this cover immediately after getting the truck. It's been on now for almost 3 months and I have not had any issues, no leaks or operational problems.
Bed cover is cool. What I don't like it seems to make a small bed smaller with the "cabinet" it rolls into.
I have the Yakima outpost overhaul with that same bedcover on my 2019 Tacoma and I can’t find a better quality setup. Granted this set up with the Yakima will run you a little over $3000.00 but the quality is unbeatable. The only other disadvantage of this system is the amount of space the bulk head takes up but that’s the sacrifice you pay for having an impenetrable bedcover. I am obsessed with my set up and would recommend this to anyone.
Thanks for your video. I installed mine last night. I wish I would have watched your video first. I forgot to drill the drain holes in the plastic covers beforehand. No big deal, but it would have been easier, prior to setting the canister in place.

Thanks. I’m getting mine for my Tundra Dbl Cab. I had a Bak Flip for my previous Tundra and it got very temperamental; It wouldn’t close without a lot of adjusting every time. Trying Retrax out be because it seems a bit more reliable and I have the compatible Yakima Overhaul HD racks for my kayaks. I wish it just had a latch that was accessible by opening the tailgate vs a separate key lock though. Seems sort of dumb.
Nice PRO, love mine. Not willing to pay that much for a bed cover. But it's a nice one.

Dude, I'm so glad I watched this. I was gonna pull the trigger on that cover tomorrow. I have the Amp Research bed extender for transporting my dirt bike. I never even thought about it retracting into the bed. Sounds like it won't fold into the bed, due to the rail width. Do you know how much width is available from the inside edges of rails, with the cover?

8 months later, what are your thoughts? Can you still use the toyota rail system in the bed?
Anyone know if this product could be used in conjunction with the decked drawer system? It looks like it might be a tight fit up front where the cover rolls up
You didn’t use the key to show how to lock it in place?
You lock the sliding top it in place by pushing the handle down. Just stops it from moving, it's not actually "locked". Not sure if you can actually "lock it" when it's partially closed, I'll need to try that. Thanks!
I wonder if this cover will still work with a bed extender installed? Anybody have any info on that? Any help is appreciated

I just measured and it looks around 9-10 inches. The box doesn't go all the way to the floor of the bed, so if you had to carry some ladders or rolled up carpet or whatever it could slide underneath the box the top rolls up into.

No, no rattling at all.

Hey nice installation. I just bought the retrax XR and I also bought a molle system for the drive side of the tundra truck bed. They are both being delivered. I’m afraid that the molle system won’t fit. It uses the factory holes on the side of the bed to install into place. My question Is there any clearance in between the cover at the front sides of the bed where the molle system will fit. It’s from Cali raised LED

is yours leaking? after a few months mine just started leaking
I get a very small amount of leaking right where the cover meets the tailgate. That's when i pressure wash the truck. If it's just rain or snow, then I have no leaks.
@@303MoTo im getting leaks even after i adjusted it, i put the yakima racks on mine and even had a friend put pressure down while i tightened it, tryed it without pressure too and light pressure, im going to try to put a foam type tape between the tonneua and the bed cap so it'll seal better and if that doesnt work im just going to buy a decked storage system and make do with that lol
I have this same truck cover and I regret buying it not worth the money it rained all day today and all of my kids baseball equipment got wet laying in the back of my truck I couldn’t believe it I spent $2,000 on this truck cover and it can’t keep water out the back bad design in my opinion

Not really. It is powder coated
