My 2cents: The VC340 is a fantastic, easy to use vocoder / string ensemble combo. Organic sound meets good build quality. Processed vocal phrases can still be understood (which is not always given with hardware vocoders) and it reacts quick enough for drum vocoding. On the other hand - due to its concept it is a one (or two) trick pony that takes quite some studio real estate. If you like vintage vocoders and string machines, I guess that doesn't matter too much. ▶ Purchase Link* Behringer Vocoder VC340 (Thomann): www.thomann.de/intl/behringer_vocoder_vc340.htm?offid=1&affid=397 ▶ Purchase Link* Behringer Vocoder VC340 (Sweetwater): sweetwater.sjv.io/eKo0Mj
Awesome! I have this one on my list as I was not happy (or just too dumb) with the VST vocoders out there. Are the vocals in the beginning created by AI?
@@nicogrubert I'm almost sure it was Speechify. But tbh I can't remember which voice. I've recorded this video in June and was searching for a quick solution that didn't need a sign-up to work
I like to always offer more perspectives in a demo. Although I didn't care too much about the dialect, tbh, as I was focusing more on the tone of the voice itself
In terms of customer support? That's really bad. Luckily, I've never been in that situation but I've heard several times already that their support leaves some room for improvement. I guess, that's part of the deal when buying cheap. But then again I remember my struggle to get an answer from Black Corporation (or find a manual, update software that runs on Mac OS higher than Catalina etc.) and I come to the conclusion that it's not a matter of price.

Beautiful performance
2:50 sounds like strings in AFX - Cilonen
What microphone are you using? Thank you
none - I've created AI voices (text to speech) and fed the signal via line in into the VC340
I think I just died . This is awesome thank you ❤️🔥
How fun!
What is the call of wisdom?
Talk is relevant.

Yes, it's an AI voice generator fed with lyrics from Henry David Thoreau.
@@limbicbitscool! Which one did you use?

Why did you switch from an Australian AI bot voice(female) to an American voice(male)? Small thing but i wish it was the same dialect.

Its good at what it does but i dont think its much relevant or useful nowdays, can def mimic same sound with built in plugins in daws
Absolutely- but if you want to perform DAWless, there aren’t many alternatives
To Bad my VC-340 is broken now, and Behringer is not helping me at all.
