Poteet Strawberry Festival
Poteet is a small town about 45 minutes south of San Antonio but you would never imagine that how much excitement this town would bring. The festival is held on 100 acres and it host 100s of vendors ranging from food, drinks, clothing, jewelry, and so many more local crafts available to purchase. They also had carnival rides, festival games, picture stations, petting zoo, concerts, and shows that include bull riding, rodeo, and a firework show. Something that was unique for us to experience is that every booth consisted of the payment method being coupons. This means that in order to purchase absolutely anything you had to have a coupon (the same ones you use for rides). Kari had a blast and was able to get on a few rides, go to the dinosaur exhibit and see a few animals at the petting zoo. Kaiden loved the bright lights at night. Ken FINALLY got the funnel cake he has been craving. I was able to pet a beautiful horse and experience my very first bull riding show.
