Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign

India is introducing Rubella vaccine as Measles-Rubella vaccine in it's Universal Immunization Programme (UIP) which provides protection against 2 serious diseases - Measles and Rubella
All children who have completed 9 months of age & are below 15 years of age, regardless of previous doses and either disease status, must get MR Vaccine during the campaign #VaccinesWork

UNICEF has been tirelessly toiling hard to eradicate disease like Rubella and Measles affecting children and pregnant women in India. So far UNICEF India has been successful in fighting against these fatal, life harming diseases. It is a great initiative by UNICEF to make the future generation safe.

Immunisation is the best way to protect the children of tomorrow, it is our responsibility to make sure we eradicate illnesses that can prove to be fatal to children and their parents. This initiative by the UNICEF is a great way to make sure children in this country remain safe from diseases and inculcate awareness in parents about the positivities of the vaccine.

UNICEF in India has been successful in it's war against polio. The immunization initiative by UNICEF has eradicated fatal diseases concerning children and the mothers. Vaccination has prevented many deaths of infants in India. Rubella and measles are the main areas of concern of this initiative of UNICEF.
