This is arguably the Best Quarterbacked game in NFL History
One should be able to make a top list of passer rating between both QB, I at least know there's for fewest
You're forgetting that the Saints had a historically bad defense that year.
They both would've won with this performance if they were playing 2 different teams this day
Hey guys, the NFL released the top 10 Quarterback duels of all time, do you guys think this game should've been in the top 10? I mean, there were THIRTEEN touchdowns thrown, fourteen if you include the pick six.
Lee's On Stream so did the giants. In fact the Giants only have had a defense ranked higher than 24th once going all the way back to 2013. But sure...Eli Manning was the reason they lost games like this. In fact the 2015 giants went 6-10. They would have gone 10-5-1 that year if a football game was 58 minutes. The giants defense blew the lead/tie 6 times in the last 2 minutes. That’s...historically hard to do.
One of the best qb duels in the last 10 some years
ghost in the shell357 id say mahomes Goff this past year tops this
@@MarkHeinsius Mahomes and Goff are both interception machines.
Inaren Commander mahomes had 12 int’s to 50tds last year has no interceptions this year where are you getting your info from dude
Markey11 He threw two picks in that game and also fumbled twice so it wasn’t great
@@MarkHeinsius not at all
The greatest shootout of this decade
It's up there. I'd put the Broncos vs Cowboys in 2013 above it tho
Packers Cardinals Wild Card game in 2009 season was a tad better
@@Pancakes26 that's game happen in the 2000s not 2010s
@@Pancakes26 but the packers lost so it's not cool
@@YoungChuy2398 Technically the game happened in 2010.
This game was three years ago. Dang
Sure as hell doesn't feel like it
for real i remember watching it live at Buffalo Wild Wings w my friends.. was the same week the Seahawks played Dallas when they had no Romo lol
4 dumbass

5 :0
Eli was soooo under rated, he is definitely going to the hall of fame with his bro
4:09 begs to differ
@@aaronloiselle3651 Peyton's had those moments too
Ahhh Jarius Byrd so many nightmares as a saints fan.
Daniel as a Bills fan I respectfully disagree 😂😂 loved that guy
Daniel The 2015 giants defense still gives me nightmares to this day
As a phins fan I hate him
@@RonnyTheGamer Jarius Byrd Rob us all he wanted was his money
Nothing compared to seeing Brandon Browner in black and gold again...
This was just like a madden game, you cant make a stop on defense so the only way you win is by an interception or fumble lol
Online madden is the biggest joke.
Game was insane! I had Eli and Odell on my fantasy roster that year 😁
Even as a Giants fan, I love this game. This was one of Eli's best games (the most touchdowns he's ever thrown) which was like a swansong for him. Brees and Eli were 2 of the older QBs in the league so it was cool to see them go at it against one another.
I’ll never forget this game I had Drew Brees Odell and Brandin Cooks
I watched this while my friends were outside and I kept telling them THIS IS A SICK GAME and never went to look. When I told them the score their faces dropped
3:30 Colston all about that business. Ain’t no dancing over here. Miss that dude.
He was underrated and overlooked his entire career
@@jameylanier4817 the people who watch football like that know how reliable he was
Eli still had respect and a decent o-line 😂
Don’t know about decent. Still bad. But miles better than what Daniel Jones has now.
Giants fan. Not even mad we lost this one. We were never going to go anywhere that year, and the saints deserved it. But think this may be one of the greatest nfl games in history. Epic play after epic play. Even better than super bowl 52
Giants fan and this still makes me fucking furious. The ending was worse than the Desean Jackson game. Refusing to punt the ball OUT OF BOUNDS like we didn't learn the first time and commiting a fucking FACEMASK when all you had to do was cleanly tackle him to send it to OT. Not to mention this was one of the worst defenses ever assembled that threw away one of Eli's best quarterbacked games and best years
That gane should have went to overtime. There was no reason to punt the ball inbounds with 20 seconds left. One of many questionable decisions by Giants coaching in 2015.
Yea wtf was that
Don't punt the ball out of bounds when the Saints have 20 seconds and 3 timeouts. A skilled directional punter could kick a 32 yard punt out of bounds to the Saints 43. Then the Saints have just 17 yards to go to get to the 40 for Kai Forbath, who has a 57 yard career long. I'll take my chances with the big boot.
Really, you should be blaming Wing for the facemask, not for kicking it in bounds. If Wing tackles correctly here, the Saints have to attempt either a 60 yard field goal or a 44 yard hail mary.
didn't the giants lose like 5 or 6 games that season due to last minute field goals or questionable decisions in the final minutes/seconds of the fourth quarter? I know my Pats snuck a win on them with gostowski's 54 yard kick.
They were hoping that fumble came sooner or the kicking team would be in his face 3.6 seconds after he catches it an hit em hard or strip it but nope
TheAireaidLord that’s why coughlin got fired
I remember this game like it was yesterday(partially because it was 3 years ago). I remember saying to myself "First to 50 wins" and I was right lmao.
Then in 2016 it was 16-13.
Lmao
2018 33-18 lmaoo
Omar Yahya Eli 2 rings,Brees 1
Charles Buckley yet Eli isn’t even in the Top 10 when it comes to quarterbacks 🤣🤣
@@tmc31390 what good is top 10 if you got one title
Exactly
This was the last year Eli had some decent pass protection. Ever since then, its been a crapshoot
I'm telling you, this game was insane back in 2015. Eli earned some respect for scoring 6 touchdowns, two of them to Odell and the rest was history. As for Drew Brees, give him some credit his arm was pure golden. Holy crap what a game lol.
Three of them were to Odell
I was at this game, the greatest experience, as it’s the highest scoring game in the past 40 years
I sat drew brees in fantasy football during this game. Biggest mistake ever. Still won the game. My man drew had over 50 points
Can me, as a Colts fan just appreciate how Brees has one of the best throwing forms in the league
It's beautiful. Let me also mention how people fail to realize that Drew and throwing on the run was a perfect marriage. He still does it but the range isn't as open as it once was in his younger days. Greatest passer of the football ever.
It's therapeutic to watch man. It's graceful
Drew always gave us such thrillers and combacks that guy was such a legend and so clutch. He was always in Brees Mode.🐐
Could have called this game Arena Football.
@Rowdy Jr. Saints didn't throw it at the one
@Rowdy Jr. dam son
Let's go NYG ANDREW THOMAS BABY!
Superdome football
Damn, three years since this game?
I was at this game and it was really fun
If this was a game between 2 strong contenders that year instead of teams going no where, this would probably be considered the greatest regular season game ever.
This is one of the greatest regular season games of all time
Stupid Brandon Browner and his league high penalties. He cost us so many games that year
For real. It was sickening to watch.
可iiGold burnt toast
No kidding, including almost costing us this one at home.
Brandon Browner was a holding machine....It drove me crazy.
One if the reasons NE cut him after SB49. Belichick offered for him to stay if he converted to a Strong Safety so Patrick Chung could be used in mixed Strong Safety/CB roles with McCourtey strictly at Free Safety. Browner declined and got cut.
What a game
Ill never forget this game. I was in Vegas that weekend watching it live at the Wynn. Everyone at the sportsbook was glued to this game. Thankfully, my girlfriend went shopping and left me alone that afternoon. I took the over in this game and I hit a 6 game parlay and won $1500 on a $40 bet. It was amazing. What a day. Unfortunately she came back after a few hours. But it was still a great day.
1:47 Brees on the run throws the ball almost 50 yards. People act like he could only go short but that man was slinging it back in the day.
This game was like Madden. No defense, just score or turnovers. Love the manning magic. Brees and co. were so good
I will never forget this game ⚜
⚜️⚜️⚜️
Great game between 2 legends.
Hearing Moose and the other announcer pulling out stats after stats in disbelief is why I love football
Despite the loss, Eli balled the fuck out
If there were ever an example of an arena football game in NFL history this is the one
It’s crazy how bad our defense was from 2014-16 I believe Cam Jordan and Pat Robinson are the only ones left on our defense from those times 😯
This is a good reminder of how godly Brees was
I still remember this game, and remember Eli’s brother throwing multiple INTs with some shitty numbers yet getting a win. Gotta feel for Eli here
You realize having brilliant offensive performances like this was a regular thing for Peyton manning right?
@@nelsonalexanderjimenez8120 obviously yes, the point is just that Eli often just had really shitty teams
@@nelsonalexanderjimenez8120not when it mattered the most. Dude lived off his defense
My wife & I traveled to New Orleans and had a blast at this game despite the outcome 😢
Felt like I was a kid playing madden against a buddy , you knew whoever had the ball last was gonna win.
Unbelievably, I think this is at least tied for the most points ever scored by a losing team. Which means there's never been a game in NFL history where both teams have scored 50
Now there is thanks to the Rams and Chiefs
The defense of the Saints who could not even stop a nosebleed
This team could’ve been championship worth if they had this offenses with the 2016 defense
That was a horrific saints defense. Thank god the defense has improved.
What a time to be alive this was🔥🔥🔥🔥miss 9 man
Those throws by Brees are a thing of beauty
What about manning?
Even though the giants lost, I still love this game
Yo NFL Throwback where ya been all my life?? This channel rocks!!
I remember this. I was watching this while it was pouring rain all day after Halloween. Was a better game than I expected lmao
It's not the Eli we deserved...But it's the Eli we need.
Please go back to being good. We need to make the Cowboys fans shut up.
Haha good luck with that 😂😉
Ryan Irwin- Diehl He deserves it honestly, he kicked Patriot ass in the SuperBowl twice
I remember this game. I was in port in Busan, South Korea . Woke up pretty early keeping track of this game, every minute I was like 😧😧😧😧😧. Man these saints teams would’ve been great had we had an inkling of defense
Man the Saints secondary was bad back then. Glad times have changed!! #whodat
the saints would be 2-14 every year if they didn’t have brees
My next guess is Cowboys vs Lions 2014 Wild Card for tomorrow? Lol
Christian Perry hopefully
1:49 He said Marques Colston when he meant Ben Watson.
ok
Every year I come back and watch this game highlight
Eli Manning and Drew Brees always had some good games against each other.
The perfect NFL game
Can you do the saints vs vikings 2017.
BTW the saints vs gaints game in week 4 2018 was awasome I was so thankful the saints won.
I love the saints.
And im 9.
My classmates call me a diehard saints fan!!!😛😛😛💪💪💪💪
If either team had a semblance of a good defense it would've been a blowout
3 people on new York team was from Louisiana, Odel, Manning and Reuben Randall
Most entertaining game I’ve ever seen from start to finish tied with that chiefs colts wild card game
Man if only this game went to overtime, whoever got that ball first would’ve either broken a record with brees having 8 TDs in a game or you would’ve had two QBs tie the nfl record I’m the same game. Still an amazing game though
Obviously it’s not guaranteed someone would’ve thrown a TD but I feel like with how that game was going it was inevitable 😂
whoever started obj in fantasy this week really took a W
Brees = GOAT
LMAO nope
@Just Jenn yep
@@colinbarlow6662 Nope Brees just got his 8 playoff win this season!!!All the 5,000 yard seasons don't change the fact that he barely makes the playoffs but his stats are great.
@Just Jenn wins don’t mean anything...Tyrod Taylor has more Super Bowl wins than Dan Marino...does that mean he’s better?
@@mikecheeze4312 who's the goat though?
Holy shit I watched this game in 8th grade, I just graduated last year. Time flies
Two top 5 offenses and two worst defenses of that season is a recipe for a massive shootout!
Tom Coughlin is always getting screwed at the end of the game by the punt team
Great career Brees🔥🤟🏿.
These DBs made me actually sick to my stomach. Lol
I remember this game like it was today..WHO DAT!!!!BREESY
Been waiting for this video
What a great game. We all know brees can spin it, but dang.. Eli sure can too
Thanks so much I wanted to watch this
I wouldn’t let either defense in the locker room after that game. Eli throws 6 Tds in a loss
Saints wide receiver corps was pressure!
It's time to D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-DUEL! 😁
I'm a saints fan and I'm going to this game I never get to see them live cause I'm from New Jersey
was a great game- wish the Giants won tho- but what a battle of two great offensive units back in the day :)
Who dat say gonna beat them saints let’s go
Yes! I was waiting for this
Anybody else’s eyes and mouth get big at 12:27
Yea that was dope
Such an underrated game
Man oh man, this is an awful lot of offense. Wheeeeeee
I was at this game. Too young to realize the importance of it tho
Worst birthday ever; this game and the Mets losing the World Series hours later.
Steelers lost the Super Bowl on my birthday, it was all Steeler themed too.
Pancake 26 The broncos lost the Super Bowl 43-8 on my birthday too.
Indians lost on my brothers birthday
bigblue999 the saints lost the minasota miracle on my bday as well lmao
@@riley5270 Damn I feel bad for all of you. My birthday was pretty good!
Man OBJ was a beast! I remember getting so mad at that punt. It reminded me of the end of the game punt to Deshawn Jackson 😡
The league may be ruining the game with these overprotective rules that frustrate us all but you can always count on this channel to put smiles on NFL fans faces.
😁
@@NFLVault I tell nothing but the truth and what's truth is this channel being the near perfect foundation to discover some of the greatest bouts or unbelievable conclusions in NFL history. But side note thought what the heck is a tackle anymore?
I was at this game. It was a rainy day in New Orleans, both teams were pretty mediocre at the time. No real playoff implications for either team. Honestly, the best thing that the Saints did that year was fire Rob Ryan. This game would be Khiry Robinson’s last game as a Saint, I think overall too, due to a nasty leg injury. It took about 20 minutes to get him off the field in an ambulance. It was definitely a game I went into with low expectations and it ended up being one of the best that I’ve ever seen. Halloween weekend has always led to great games for me I hope that this year’s game against the Raiders can keep that streak going for me personally.
It just occurred to me... Brees is like a combination of Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. 🤔
Eddie May apart from Brees lacks the Arm strength like Brady and Rodgers but makes up in accuracy
@@nilemcdonald9370 wouldn't be surprised if Drew's power maybe because of the shoulder injury way back when he played for the chargers
P o l a r B e a r he was never known to have great arm strength but he made up for it with great deep throw accuracy
Manning's brain+Rodgers' body+Brees' accuracy+Brady's "clutch" factor+Russel Wilson's mobility=perfect 2010s QB
The Giants punter gave the Saints the game, I remember 😂
You know it’s been a while when you see Marquis Colston, Brandin Cooks, and Willie Snead playing for the Saints.
Facemask on the punter. That's what this game came down to. 13 TD passes, 101 points, a million yards of total offense, and it came down to a facemask penalty on the punter. If that don't beat all.
a Game To Remember
Dominique Rodgers cromartie was an elite force as an outside cornerback
This is the combination of the worst defense and best offense playing the giants lol
Brees would of killed the pats in the super bowl
That's still depressing. Those refs should have been fired. I honestly think Saints would have beat Patriots. I'm not sure if they would have killed them, but they definitely would have won and it would have been a much higher score. Brees vs Brady Superbowl would have been sick, and Brees would have gotten a second ring and retire as one of the all-time greats
*would've
Jesseg0815 would’ve could’ve should’ve... didn’t
Animesh Gandhi ur the one that’s delusional
Thought this would be vintage Saints. Brees and offense dominate, but lose in the end
Great upload and great video quality!
