@@LambChopRides ok sir : Great video : can you sir tell me the tunning of the air fuel mixture screw : if I close it until the end ,, how many full rotation should I open it the screw ?
Great video mate. I loved every second. I have a question about the pilot jet aka pilot screen “D” can you link me to the tool. I can’t find that pilot jet screw driver D for anything. Not sure is USA is a different model screw then what you have
Dear Lamb Chop, I just bought a 1995 tiger blade that has not been started for 5 years. Upon opening the carbs up I found that the main jet and surrounding jets are chocked with black deposits, as well as the needle. The carbs look to be rebuild able and usable. Do you have any suggestions as to how to best approach the process of cleaning and getting the bike running again? Thanks.
hi mate just an observation. but dont you have the carb bowls on in the wrong order IE how are you going to get to the bowl drain screws if need be? surley the screws need to be pointing outwards to the correct side. im not a troll im just checking as mine dont look like this.lol. Any way ive a quick question regarding these carbs on my RRV (97) ive just rebuilt them after the bike was layed up for about 5 years and it peeing fuel out the link pipe at the top of the carbs when the engine starts, its running very rough too, any ideas would be appreciated.
I have the same bike and i just started having a problem after letting my bike sit for 2 months. After i start the bike i get gas coming out some where by either the fuel t or possibly the float over flow. Im new to this bike and was wondering where exactly is the float overflow. Is it the nipple on the bottom of carb?
+apx5777 The fact that he has not replied to your comment tells me that your observation is right, There was nothing wrong with them, A old motorcycle mechanic told me if it`s running alright, Leave it alone, Most of the problems I`ve encountered on motorcycles is idiots who think they know better than the manufacturer, Playing around with the carbs is classic numpty abuse
Hey what’s up lamb chops have a question have a 98 900rr cleaned the carbs but the bike between 3500 rpms and 4500 it’s seems like it’s breaking up you don’t feel it but you hear it and it will pop a little , she revés up fine and idles fine , if you rev it to like 4K it sounds like a plug fouling but no plugs foul, any ideas would be helpful, bike has a k&N filter a factory pro stage 1 jet kit and D&D full exhaust
Bro my carb on my 93 cbr 900 is stuck...I'm 99% sure I disconnected everything and it wiggles a little bit but won't budge...I'm thinking the boots melted or something. Any ideas?
they just seem to fit extremely snug to be airtight and keep gas from coming all out I took my carbs off yesterday just about pulled the bike off the ground getting them off
Thanks for the vid man, about to clean the carbs on my 1996 900RR
Surprise surprise look who it is who turns up in the top few when searching for a cleaning guide on my bike.

Nice job, I have the same bike.
Goofy question, well mine is a 96 900rr, it pulls the front wheel up in 1st at 80k, too lean?? From Canada
What would cause fuel to leak in bores?
it looked pretty damn clean before you started, but best to be sure with the jets, was it running rough before?
