Once we get through this initial period of Rugrats there really aren't anymore onslaughts of one specific franchise. Once the first Wild Thornberrys game hits, Nick starts going crazy with their video game releases and you don't just get one franchise repeatedly. Even with the 10 million SpongeBob games that have been made, it's rare that you see Nick releasing two games in a row for the same show. After being bombarded with Ren & Stimpy, Adventure Time and Ben 10 in the past year, some consistent variety will be a nice change of pace lmao
The first issue of Pocket Games described this game as "a tad to difficult for a younger player, and way too boring for anyone over 12". I was already starting to grow out of Rugrats, so I skipped it. Looks like I didn't miss much.
The Reptar wagon road level looked like it’s ripped straight from the RC Car level from the Toy Story Video Game where you’re chasing after the moving truck.
I really hope Saving Mean Bob's rom gets leaked online somewhere. There was an interview made a few months before the game was supposed to be released, so it was most likely very close to completion before being randomly canceled. Plus more screenshots show it was originally a linear 3D platformer with some 2D segments.
I think the weird levels at the hospital were meant to be the babies wandering into the "holistic birthing rooms" that got all of fifteen seconds of screentime in the movie.
I didn't know there was a color version lmao. I recently played the original gameboy version and honestly I don't see how any one in the target audience could beat this
Oof, I never haded that game. But atleast I can buy it on somewhere. But hey the Rugrats Movie is kinda my favorite movie out of all of the Rugrats Series, even though the forest scene was a Dark Moment
Looks like I'll have to disagree. I didn't like this game. The lack of horizontal camera control really frustrates. As someone who loves the movie and is also a defender of Dil as an addition to the series, this was a poor effort. Fortunately though, the following Game Boy Color games are okay, though still nothing spectacular.
Believe it or not, Creation Software (The devs of this game) later made Nicktoons Racing for PS1 and PC, Rugrats Time Travel for GameBoy, GameBoy Color version of Rugrats in Paris and Rugrats Castle Capers (Which I heard was suppose to be an GBA adaptation of Royal Ransom as both has the same premise of Stu building a kids' playhouse and Angelica ruling over it. Thus' the Rugrats has to do challenges to get back what rightfully there's.) Castle Capers being released in 2001 while Royal Ransom being released in 2002. Kinda like the Jimmy Neutron movie game.
Can you do a History of Ben 10 Games on DS? I have them all on DS, & they are all vary different from the home console versions, while all the DS Ben 10 games are basically the same gameplay with different skins of everything in it? They are all really fun, and I know you love 2D Side Scrolling Platformers, & that’s what they all are. I have beaten all of them on DS. And had a blast! It might be better to do them all in one video do to how similar they all are, but that’s up to you. If you want I can link you to each game... just let me know if your interested....
Will Nick Jr games count; I was in Walmart today and saw Paw Patrol on nintendo switch and on Amazon and ebay I saw Peppa Pig on DS so will those count?
I heard it would have been for the Nintendo 64, which would have been cool. We did get Rugrats In Paris on both the N64 and PS1, and it's legit one of the most tedious and frustrating games I've ever played.
Rugrats Treasure Hunt (that's what it's called in my country) had so much potential. It's such an awesome concept. Rugrats meets Mario Party. Unfortunately though, it doesn't come close to any of N64 instalments, including the first game.

I had this game for Gameboy. I would get to the forest and couldn’t beat the level. It was my stopping point. Excellent video man

I got the original Game Boy version of this. Outside of colors and different graphics, they are basically the same exact game.

A console version of the Rugrats movie was Planned but Nickelodeon decided to be Cheap.
