- Learn how you can block game ads on your iPhone or iOS device. Block ads in games, apps, and websites. You can even block ads on UA-cam.com (not the app though)! We'll be doing this by downloading an app called Lockdown Privacy which is available for free.
Disclaimer: This doesn't work in all cases. Streaming apps typically don't work either.

It didn’t last for me! Only one hour
When I play shadow fight, it wants to load an ad but it can’t because of the adblock. So it just stays in the loading for however long the app is open. But other then that it works on websites and everything 👍

For those who didn’t see your settings like 1:18, go back to Lockdown and tap the “on button” on the top

You are an actual absolute saviour! Everywhere I'd go I'd see "just turn your wifi off" or to use sketchy websites, but this does nothing but make a free firewall! You also got straight to the point. I can finally play games that force me to connect to wifi without ads. I am subscribing

This worked I got so tired of pop ups in games. Only thing says it monitors what I do on iPhone, but I still like it for what it’s worth.

Does this work on iPads as well? I have “VPN” on my iPads but it’s not letting select anything. I don’t have “VPN” in my settings on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. So not sure how to do it without that.
Yep, it should work on your iPad and your iPhone. Your phone/app will ask if it can add VPN. The app should give you a tutorial on how to set it up if you still need help. There's also FAQs and support from Lockdown.

No worries. It should work on your iPad as far as I know. iPads can have VPNs, but if you've tried and it doesn't work - or don't get any sign of a VPN or VPN prompt - I'm not sure. I would contact their support. I hope that helps.

If it ever seems to stop working, try turning off and on the firewall in the Lockdown app and close any apps you were using that need the ad-blocker.

Bro how vpn allow lockdown configuration?
Still having trouble? Lockdown should guide you through the process while setting up the app. A pop-up should appear regarding the VPN.

I've never done an analysis of it, but I would guess it would take more energy because it's a background process that's always running. I wouldn't worry though. Just try it out and see if it works for you. You can always remove it if you think it isn't helping.

No you actually don't have to pay anything (unless it's different where you live). The firewall feature which blocks ads, trackers, and more is completely free. Now, if you want the secure tunnel which hides your location and gives you private browsing - then you'll have to pay.

If you let the trial expire, yes, you have to pay of course. But, you don’t need to pay or use the free trial in the first place unless you want the extra privacy features that come with Secure Tunnel. The Firewall which blocks ads and other things is always free…

The app is free unless you want the extra premium features-which are nice, but not necessary. In short, the “Firewall” is free. The “Secure Tunnel VPN” and extra features cost money.

Sorry you're having trouble with the app. I actually use it myself though on my iOS device - so maybe it just isn't working in the app of your choice. (It can't block ads in every single app unfortunately).

It worked for a while but then stopped working do you know how to fix?
Refresh the Lockdown app. (Turn off the firewall and turn it back on.) Restart the app you want ads blocked in.
