I befriended a moth at the homespace and they took me to wasteland so I was like "ooo finally get to be lead by a moth in a difficult area :D" but then they friended two other players, held hands with both of them, and left me lmao. I went back home and started crying then another player started playing piano for me :)
When veterans try to take me under their wing while playing i'm always so intimidated. i fly fast to the end so i don't keep them waiting and bother them :(

I'm two weeks into the game so I guess I'm a moth (such a cute nickname btw) and I'm currently struggling with Golden Wasteland. It's so terrifying and I always quit if the situation gets too scary to go back to Daylight Prairie. I thought the game was gonna be pretty landscapes and butterflies, but these spiky hot dogs are pure nightmare fuel.
I used to be so terrified of wasteland and now it's my favorite realm to go into cause of the suspense. Before I learned to appreciate it, I used to watch and stare at the kril from a safe distance trying memorize there pathway patterns to avoid getting krilled! Logically I knew the more I learn this realm and just do it, the better of a player I'll become.
Heck yes! Ive only been playin for like three days but I LOVE LOVE LOVE KRILL DODGING 👏 there’s something about flaunting my authority in a stressful situation, until I run out of energy and get myself krilled 😅

I remember as a moth I was adopted by an older player. They started to be lest frequent when chatting and when they do reply it feels very passive agressive. I could tell they were annoyed and tired of me so we eventually stopped playing together at all. They don't greet me when I encounter them anymore and ignore me :( So seeing so many videos of older players helping moths and being patient with them makes me really happy :]

Honest opinion- as much as new players are cute, what I don’t really like is when they friend me and keep spamming the ‘hold hands’ button to drag me around. Like it’s cute and all but they’ve barely just started the game and don’t know where to go, so then I can’t do my candle runs as effectively cuz they just end up dragging me straight to the end and missing all the candles ;w;
It’s better to let them explore by themselves so they can know the game better instead of doing boring candle runs (don’t get me wrong I do candle runs too but it might get boring for new players especially when they just started the game)

Instead of getting bored, they don’t know what the heck is happening and they remember a few of the places they went to but don’t really learn them fully. It is better to let them explore, so they can learn a bit about the places by themselves too.

When I first started a vet befriended me and ran me through forest and valley, and I couldn’t remember how to get to village of dreams but absolutely loved the place, so that motivated me to keep exploring to find the “secret area” I thought they had led me to. Don’t worry about boring them, they can always leave if they want to but it’s a good way to give them a taste of sky 😁

I have met a friend, that is practicing music in hidden forest and at home, I was using moth like custom and I want to bring my friend candle running and my friend would like just sitting there practicing. I would like take my music instrument and play with my friend. But my friend just kept going away, ig my friend don't like another ppl interrupting. So I just leave...
Biggest pain has to be that different people at different stages see different things - especially with the quests. I was asked as a moth to kneel on the white circle. What white circle? I'd not done Part 1 of the quest series and so couldn't see it. A pain with the game. I wish it realised I was working with someone and allowed me to see what they could see.

For the French people like me, mof means “meilleur ouvrier de France” (best worker of France). There are MOFs in lot of different domains, for exemple for bakers as well as for carpenters. I don’t know the exact process of nomination, but it means the MOF is the best in his domain for this year. And there is another MOF the next year. (Idk if it’s clear 😅)

I had a moth friend while playing on an alt account, we met in Valley. Honestly, i would say that they are cute but also annoying. They can't control the toy stick while flying so we were just bumping into walls and walls. At first it was fine, i let them led me until the server switch and we were separated. So i quickly went Home and join them, and i "saw" that they are in Wasteland buy i couldn't see them. So i kept honking and found them, are stuck in flight mode in clouds. I had to save them but they just dont want to hold hand (probably its hard while you are stuck in clouds) and then they left and never play ever again
I was a moth that joined during the Season of the Little Prince. I had to do those guide quests with the seasonal spirits where your light circle touches the spirit, so I had to learn about Golden Wasteland pretty quickly.
Moths are like freshmen you meet in college or highschool. They are unpredictable and interesting to meet. Often times, I get kidnapped by moths as I try to help them out lol. Kind of like my in-game friend's moth little sister who like to teleport to me and grab my hand every time I am online that I get surprised a lot 😂 somehow, prairie and wastelands are the best areas to encounter new players haha
I went straight to the end only during the battle castle area in the wasteland. The moment I got there 1st time, someone activated all the krills. Went straight to the end bc that was terrifying (specially because I didn’t know the area yet) Edit: I was on my own but there were 2 vets watching me run like my head was cut off.
I laughed so hard at the part where he was lighting the benches because bro, same 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I wonder what some vets saw back when I was a moff, especially in wasteland (and then in Eden)! when I first entered wasteland, I knew very well from my friends that one if these lands are dangerous (I thought the whole game was from all the dark dragons I saw them draw) and once I met one, honestly I was scared, I still wasn't good at navigating or flying at the time.
I always died when I first tried Eden so I started asking random players for help in wastelands. And then a moth offered to help me. I didn't even see that it was a moth at first I was so embarrassed afterwards xD Well we finished wastelands together, then the other one, forgot the English name and then we came to eden. I did the first part and he did the part where I always died. Then we separated for the last part but we stayed together. And that's how a moth literally guided me through eden lmao😂

I had a moth friend while playing on an alt account, we met in Valley. Honestly, i would say that they are cute but also annoying. They can't control the toy stick while flying so we were just bumping into walls and walls. At first it was fine, i let them led me until the server switch and we were separated. So i quickly went Home and join them, and i "saw" that they are in Wasteland buy i couldn't see them. So i kept honking and found them, are stuck in flight mode in clouds. I had to save them but they just dont want to hold hand (probably its hard while you are stuck in clouds) and then they left and never play ever again

I was a moth that joined during the Season of the Little Prince. I had to do those guide quests with the seasonal spirits where your light circle touches the spirit, so I had to learn about Golden Wasteland pretty quickly.
Moths are like freshmen you meet in college or highschool. They are unpredictable and interesting to meet. Often times, I get kidnapped by moths as I try to help them out lol. Kind of like my in-game friend's moth little sister who like to teleport to me and grab my hand every time I am online that I get surprised a lot 😂 somehow, prairie and wastelands are the best areas to encounter new players haha

I went straight to the end only during the battle castle area in the wasteland. The moment I got there 1st time, someone activated all the krills. Went straight to the end bc that was terrifying (specially because I didn’t know the area yet)

During my first time in Wasteland (like,,, last week lol yeah I'm new) I got stuck in the krill's first room with one of those spirits that you have to slowly guide... a super kind player came and tried to help me but it got really frustrating and I gave up. If you're reading this, player from Malaysia, I'll always remember you and your patience 🥺💖

i have a friend who's a moth like me. we met at wasteland and we've been playing together ever since. i was so happy when i was playing alone and she came from behind me and showed me her new emotes. ever since then, when i log in at a specific range of time, i always found her online. that's why i deliberately online at that range so i can play with her.

I always died when I first tried Eden so I started asking random players for help in wastelands. And then a moth offered to help me. I didn't even see that it was a moth at first I was so embarrassed afterwards xD Well we finished wastelands together, then the other one, forgot the English name and then we came to eden. I did the first part and he did the part where I always died. Then we separated for the last part but we stayed together. And that's how a moth literally guided me through eden lmao😂
