Love love the blob figure i had the BAF when it first came out, i had to sell all my toybiz early hasbro marvel legends during a move, i regretted it and i have been circling dropping the funds for the BAF however when they announced this blob that all changed. i love the figure. i have fond memories of fighting him on the x-men arcade game. "Nothing Moves The Blob!" excellent review love the figure and we need destiny

First impressions: Nice sumo-like build. I like the way he looks. I particularly like that the gave him freckles, and actually did a nice job not overdoing them.
The old Blob baf looks more like Fat Bastard. This one is a better representation of the character. Great photos and I love the food accessories you added.

I know it sounds like a drum beating over and over again like a drone in the background, but until Hasbro takes note of their responsibilities for consumer's price sensitivities, great products like this will not generate the sales to meet their MoQ's. Just examine the accessories you added to the end clip - now imagine if the Blob came with those accessories?
Very nice figure. The price point is horrendous and I feel Hasbro is knowingly charging a very high premium knowing classic X-Men sells. I bought this, I like it but the price left me with a very bitter after taste that pushes me a little bit further from the ML line.

The figure looks pretty good to me. Great sculpt. Could've done with another coat or two of yellow paint in some areas. He does look a tad slender even for his older looks. I think of him with Mystique's Freedom Force. Then again if they'd made him rounder, posability would be lost. Being English he reminds me of a British wrestler from the 1970's & 80's, called Big Daddy. You even posed him doing Big Daddie's signature move. It was called the Big Daddy Splash Down. I agree the price is nuts, so I'll wait and see if I can get it on sale at some point.
Cool X-MEN villain, But nah.........I already have my favorite X-MEN villain which is Magneto and I will get FA Sabretooth and Toad because I so would like Hasbro to do an updated comic Jim Lee style Sabretooth on the Colossus or the Omega Red body mold, Overall, Awesome review on this new Blob action figure Manny.
I am definitely picking this up but I’m disappointed about the price. Really wish Hasbro would do a re tooled immortal hulk figure that has a melted face/hand accessories. Hasbro definitely should give him butterfly joints for the thunder clap.
I would have liked to see what he would have looked like with some butterfly joints, Destiny and Unus, man they should have given Toad exaggerator muscular legs
Thank god someone finally said The Hulk is bigger and comes with more stuff Then this. 20th hulk is much better than Blob. Money wise. Too much money but good ass figure just not for that price. Great video man
@@Xmanny87 I paid $46 in my state final price with tax and everything for hulk. Seeing blob be $10-$15 more for being a smaller figure than hulk and not coming with anything. Just didn’t sit right. Within hasbro inflation the 20th hulk was more reasonable then blob. The prices have got to be corrected.

I got this on pre-order. I like this. It looks great... even if it looks like a chubby person in a spandex. I can round out my brotherhood. the price is too high comparing to MODOK for example ( you did no review of MODOK right? I was looking for your review) or Mojo.
The reason this fig works for me is because it looks realistic. I just paid $ 69 is that good? The $ 69 is to my front door by the way? Also the story of every collector i cant find that piece ! I left it right there!!!!!! Meanwhile we all make fun of the nerdy kid that labels everything.

One of your fellow reviewers made a valid point that Hasbro sculpt Marvel characters that look like regular people in a cosplay costume. If l did not read comics, this is just a fat guy. Look at the Blob in the ring with Wolverine. There is no way some guy in a fat costume could pull that off. If, like you said, there was more muscle definition, he would look like he belongs in a comic. Avalanche is another regular dude in cosplay. His shoulders are nearly the same size as his waist. There's no point talking about price, Hasbro are under the impression that action figure collections are overgrown children, so they can afford any price.
Ooh speaking of freedom force idk if you’d also consider them brotherhood characters but we need a three pack of crimson commando, stonewall, and was it blue sabre ?

Nearly $70 for 1 single figure with 0* accessories and limited articulation... I had to cancel my order for spring break 😢

I like this Blob better because the other was like a little fat Michelin baby. To many fatty layer flaps.

If I remember correctly I believe Crimson Commando and Sabre were formerly Brotherhood but not Stonewall. But yeah, that would be a cool 3 pack.
