terrific upload livehardxlovehard. I shattered the thumbs up on your video. Keep on up the brilliant work.
Thanks so much! So glad you saw this vintage hike --love Eagle Rock! ❤️
Thanks for sharing. I love watching your video. Like you both Elise and Adam
Thuy we're so happy to hear that! Very glad you're enjoying the videos -- and look our for the ones we have coming out in the next few weeks from climbs we're doing in the Italian Dolomites -- they are going to be epic!!! ❤️
Love this one!!! Amazing colors in the sunrise.. !!! And the song!!! It's you Elise!! 😍😍
Aw hey thanks so much Rebeca! Do you live in the area at all? Would love for you to see this one at sunrise one day. It always helps us remember to be grateful for this beautiful earth :) and the song! Haha it's me! It's crazy to have an actual little diddy on here. Buuut.... super excited because we have a major song (a real one, not just a diddy!) coming out this week. Can't wait to share it with you!
That's my loop!! Up Temescal Ridge Trail to the viewpoint and then back down on Temescal Canyon Trail past the bridge and the waterfall. 10/10 would recommend - but I agree with you - go early and bring a mask there are tons of people on that loop.
No way! Do you live close by also? Have yet to find a better loop in LA, it’s where we always bring friends and family visiting from out of town. We like going up the waterfall route as well, but more so in the winter when there’s more running water, or if we start a bit later so there is more light on the trail. Do you have any other favorites in the area?
livehardxlovehard I do live close by - in Venice. I wish I did have some other favorite trails in the area! I prefer going up the steeper ridge trail and down the less steep canyon trail because of my knees.
You’re adventures are epic! Excellent run/hike, beautiful views, awesome vibes and as always, super chill attitude.
I just discovered your channel and I love your positivity...I just got back from road biking around Red Rocks the famous Amphitheater and Bear Creek State Park and I had your theme song in my head the whole time...Live hard, live hard Love Harder! Live hard live hard Love Harder!!!! You guys are bad asses too!
That is so awesome! That road bike sounds amazing too. So glad you’re joining us for the ride, and pretty stoked to share the upcoming adventures with ya! 🤗
Wow 🤩 temescal at sunrise is pure magic!!!!
I can’t believe we’ve never gone! Next time it’s on 🤗
but overall so pretty scenery from above and it was a nice day i reckon
Great video! Can't wait to run this. Really helpful guide too!
Hey thanks Caleb! It’s an LA classic. Let us know how the run goes for ya!
woo you both look so fit guys
good morning and thank for taking me on your amazing hike/run with you guys! Stay safe!
Hey friend! Thanks so much for coming along with us (virtually at least for now!). Hope you are staying safe out there!
I love this place I have been there plenty of times ❤️❤️❤️🤠🤠🤠
That’s awesome! It is definitely one of our favorite places. Maybe we will see you out there one of these days!
Beautiful truely...thank you for sharing.❤️♥️🧡💕💜💚💝🤍💙💗💖❣️💛how does she stay so fresh and pretty after all that running? Good job 🌺💕
Haha, it's funny because I always see myself in the footage and think WOW I look a hot mess! So thanks for being my hype girl 😂 ♥️ glad we got to share our favorite local trail with you!
Ps, love the new song :)
I feel you Adam! Those frickin snakes! My biggest worry is mountain lions. You two always start your hikes so early, you don’t ever worry about seeing one? I don’t start a hike till like 10am and I just embrace the heat because I’m so scared to run into a mountain lion.
Hadn't really thought about mountain lions too much... until NOW! Haha. Bears are also often a big concern when starting before daylight ... but we try to make a lot of sound and avoid running too fast. It's worth it to us to avoid the crowds that descend after about 8AM!
livehardxlovehard that’s what I do too, I sing loud and clap while I’m hiking alone lol
Thanks for sharing my friend! It’s beautiful, but I never did this hike! Will add it on my hiking list! Beautiful sunrise and the view from up in the mountain! 😊👍
Do you live in LA? You’ve got to do this one for sure, it’s a classic!! Would love to see you do a video on it 🤗
livehardxlovehard I live in Orange County. I’ll do this hike in a month or 2 time. Thanks 😊
@@TravelwithSuri awesome can't wait to see!
Such an enjoyable video. You make running' fun!
Thanks for sharing your story.
Fun fact you may probably know: rattle snakes use sound to ward off predators and unassuming hikers. But di you know they have no ears?
Regards,
Michael
As soon as Adam heard the word rattlesnake, he put his hands over HIS ears, but I found that very interesting 😂 - E
Awesome, thanks for the video! I did Santa Ynez to Eagle Rock recently (with extension to Hub Junction) & would love to try this one for a few extra miles!
Thanks for joining us on the adventure Emily! The trails in this area are awesome, aren’t they? We’ve never done Eagle Rock from Santa Ynez, though we’re hoping to do much more exploring in the area over the next few months. Let us know if you do this loop and how it goes for you!
I feel so lucky to live in SoCal! Can’t way to try it & will report back.
I love your videos! I am definitely going to run this trail the next time I am in LA. Random question, what kind of trail running shoes do you wear Elise?
Thanks girl, writing music has definitely been a good way to pass the time this summer. New song coming out this week too :)
And you should definitely come run this with me! Where are you living these days?
For trail shoes, have you tried any On shoes before? I love my cloud ventures and I’ll even sometimes run in my old cloud aces because they’re both super light but sturdy on a rocky trail.
@@LiveHardxLoveHard I have not tried On but I'm going to look them up! PS, I've had your song stuck in my head today! Its so catchy :) Good job guys! xoxo
I don't use the table, I use the couch instead! 🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha I'm not sure which is worse! We need to get a house with a garage or at least a big shed dedicated entirely to gear storage!
@@LiveHardxLoveHard Nah, it's better like this, because this way we see our gear more and want to get out on trails even more often!!! Who needs couches and tables when we're outside anyway?!? hahaha
@@wezboyes Truth and Wisdom!
looks like a great day to do hiking . but i will not be able running like that
Hey thanks so much my friend! The truly wonderful thing about these trails is that you can go any pace you want - hiking, running, slow walking... it’s all amazing! Hope you get to enjoy this trail one day too 🤗
How long did you date before you married? You should do a relationship Q&A!! :)
That’s a great idea! We should do that. We do so much living hard but we don’t talk about the love hard as much. We’ve been together ten years now. Wedding in France cancelled twice because of coronavirus, but the place where we are doing it was nice enough to reschedule for next June, so that’s something we have to look forward to in 2022!
