Respect your list and the reasons you gave on how you felt about each film and the characters. I am going to steal from you and go for worst to first. I enjoy all of the movies in Phase One. 6. Iron Man 2 5. The Incredible Hulk 4. Thor 3. Captain America: The First Avenger 2. Avengers 1. Iron Man (I don't think this movie will ever leave my top 5 MCU movie list) Sidenote: I luv Ruffalo as Bruce. I think I would have enjoyed the movie more if Ruffalo was cast instead of Norton.
This is a great ranking, Megan. I think I'd personally swap Iron Man at number 2 and Avengers at number 1, simply because of the level of realized hype I felt seeing the Avengers come together for the first time, but this is a strong list. Phase one understandably felt like Marvel finding their footing. They had to introduce a bunch of characters most audiences had never heard of (Iron Man was not a household name before 2008) and Marvel did it well. Overall, phase one was a mixed bag compared to later phases, but it laid the groundwork for the MCU we know and love now.
