FYI Pod 4 ultra the mattress is not included = $4,237. Option for mattress adds $1,525. Then the auto stuff (alarm, temp, snore control) is $24 /mo or $288 a year. My mock checkout was $6,177 before tax/shipping.
So 6K PLUS a monthly subscription on top of that??? That's crazy. At that price, there shouldn't be any subscription costs
Yes! The bed that can stop snoring before it starts will be a huge winner.
Andrew - if you have sleep apnea, do something about it. The perception of better sleep may be elusive. Body temp fluctuations may be related to apneic events.
FYI - if you get hot at night, you can get a ChiliPad mattress topper that starts at ~$500. I've been using one for nearly 8 years, the first one crapped out on me at the 7 year mark (and I was admittedly bad at the cleaning routines).
What if I get hot but my wife gets cold ? Does it work for that? Cause then I’ll genuinely just get something like that and save $. But atm sleep where I live is super hard to come by because it’s so hot and you have to rely on ac which doesn’t always do the best job as it cools from outsides the covers
@@investingtips2957 So i use the twin size on my side to cool, and my husband uses a $40 electric mattress pad on his side.
How strong is the security on it? The moment it gets hacked, things will get wild very fast.
Enhancing sleep quality is something I would absolutely spend money on. I wish I had a friend or relative with an eight sleep so I could trial it before making that investment.

Can't get over the price. These are brand new Tempur-pedic mattress prices. More actually. The new mattresses have cooling tech in them too. I just went shopping for these and a $2,200 Queen Tempur-pedic with cooling tech is a no-brainer choice over this device. ALSO, they sell bases that adjust to zero-gravity (what the 4k bed does) for $600 more. Not $1500 more. I would like to know who tf is buying this thing?

You should actually never really sleep 8 hours. Aim for 6 or 7 and 1/2. People generally sleep in 90 minute sleep cycles so you have to add up chunks of 90 minutes and try to wake up at the end or beginning of a sleep cycle to truly feel rested. Learning that changed the way I sleep and how good I feel when I wake up. Isn't always perfect but it helps to be knowledgeable about that.
I thought about divorcing my wife to get a good night sleep, but this is cheaper. Marriage saved.

@@uncultured3705 I know. My point is that I can’t personally justify paying such a high price since it doesn’t come with a mattress. Even though I can afford it, it seems way too much to spend.
