Since you are making the band add an arrow with the word "Front" to the wedge lug. I know a pro should always look at stuff and how it all fits. If you do that think is pretty easy to figure out. That said is always "Lowest common denominator" seems to be best path these days.
Hey Jay, If I run your wide ratio kit and have this 4R100 sun shell, what is the widest aftermarket band I can run without interference. I would rather just get your custom rigid band and not have to worry about it, but it is not available right now. Do you plan to make anymore in the next few weeks? If not, I was looking at a 2-1/2" wide band from Alto. Just don't want to run into a problem with the sun shell. Might need to stick with a 2-1/4" band? Also planning to run the Superior R Code Servo with an E lever. I have seen some conversations on using the spring that comes with the Superior servo with your auto shift valve body, which I will be purchasing as well. Does this all work together? - 1979 Ford Bronco, 460, mild cam, 4.88 gears and 35" tires.
Largest you can use without having to machine the shell shorter is a 2 1/8" band unless it is offset like our 2 1/4" rigid. Im not sure when I will have more rigid bands available for sale. I apologize we keep running out. Im trying to fix that issue.
@@BroaderPerformance Thanks for the feedback. And no worries, I know the supply chain stuff has been affecting us all. I'll contact you when I go to get all the parts to make sure everything works together.
@@BroaderPerformance I called around and I have a friend who has a lathe. Can I machine it down enough to clear the 2-1/2" band? How much is safe to machine it down? Just want to make sure it doesn't ruin the integrity of the shell as well. I have seen where some guys have machined it down where the tabs are flush with the lugs. Is that too much?

People will just ask which way is front. Haha
