We need more Middle Earth movies. Not in 10 years, but right now. Start making preps for Silmarillion.

You do know that those movies are based on books written when your grandparents were young, yes? Or maybe even during the time of your great grandparents, depending on what generation you are.
It wouldn't be Tolkien material, so I don't think that would be very good. I mean, look at "The Hobbit" movies. A LOT of the material in those has been extrapolated or just plain made up. While I love those movies... sometimes the writing quality is questionable at best. They took much more liberty with the Hobbit than with LoTR, and it shows.
Imagine an entirely new story, non-canon and with new characters... all thought up by some fancy Hollywood screen writer like Damon Lindelof (...shiver...).
Besides, there is still some more original Tolkien material. As mentioned, there are several amazing stories in "The Silmarillion", and then there is Sons of Hurin.
yes but i think expanding middle earth with new movies no one has seen before is a good idea. i'd love to see what they would do too it. the silmarillion has something, well a lot but, can't be made into a movie tolkien only sold the rights to the Hobbit and LOTR. he died before making the sequel to LOTR. Lets make it for him.

well some day i hope to be a film maker. I've have made some short films. if i ever get to the place where i can make a big budget film, i have an idea for a LOTR type film but is much different. So i guess lets just let middle stand the test time and move on. to bad though. but all must end at some point.
