I ended up buying Kirsten and her birthday outfit in the middle of the night 😅
Addy has been my dream doll for my entire life. But now I don’t know what I’d do with it if I bought it. I loved the books so much.

Guys I'm crying I love these girls so much 😭
I'm over the moon about that flower jumpsuit, I purchased it immediately. I also bought her school outfit - I LOVE 70's fashions! (I loathe 80's fashions though, haha) The summer skating outfit looks way too cheap, like something from Walmart, so I passed on that.) But I also bought Kirsten's birthday outfit because I don't have that.

Ohmygosh! Oh i really jope they do more releases for the historicals! 55 is still a little much for me to want to spend on a single doll outfit, but hey maybe it'll sell for cheaper second hand, which would be great for me!😂 but to see Kirsten, Addy and josefina all get new releases, in their original outfits, and their birthday outfits is amazing! If they release mire of their collections I'd be so thrilled! Like you i am just a little upset that they couldn't let these 3 just have their moment, and release Julie's stuff a little later. I am glad they actually stayed historically accurate for julie this time though, instead of being costumey like her beforever release was. Also I hope you feel better soon!
I love that jumpsuit outfit for Julie. I used to have it, but my granddaughter absconded with it 15 years ago! Lol. I’m thrilled to be able to have it again. I just ordered it.
Julie always outshines Addy, joesafina and Kirsten AG should have more outfits for them. Then it looks like Julies rerelease items are going to be sticking around for a while. Similar to molly with her outfit and Assccories
Calling it The American Girls Collection is such a great throwback too, I believe the 90s, like pre-Mattel. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much but I'm really hoping we get more items for these three girls, and that we get as many historical releases as possible just in general.
I am so excited that Kirsten is back. Kirsten is my dream doll. I took a break from cleaning my American girl dolls and watch this video. I first thought it was just me who preferred be forever Addie's blue dress to her pink one. You would think I would prefer to pink dresses as pink is my favorite color. I would like to get Kirsten Addie and Josefina.

That’s what the doctors told my mom to deal with me when I had my wisdom teeth taken out and an implant done for my false tooth because I fell when I was younger really hard when we lived in Colorado. and chipped my tooth in half so I had to get a replacement false tooth and I scraped my hands and my knee
This release is so exciting. I am too happy to be mad at the fact that Julie still has her BeForever meet outfit. Confused maybe? I love seeing the historical girls back and I hope they bring more! I have Kirstin, Addy and Josefina but new shiny ones would be so nice to have. I also prefer the Beforever Addy a bit more. The blue dress and fancy hair braid is really beautiful. So many decisions! 💕
Kirsten's two-tone boots were sold separately, and the socks were striped, not solid cream...so technically, the socks are new. 😊
Just a note also, the birthday outfits come with their birthday story book too.

@@kylacollects I know the socks are new though...I used her birthday socks with her red boots for her summer outfit, so I know the originals were striped, not solid cream. Also the boots are new for Addy. Josefina is like the original, although they need to bring back her heirloom accessories...there's also a shawl, choker and foldable hand-held black fan to complete her birthday outfit.

Always thought it strange Julie had 3 Xmas outfits,yet no school outfit. So I bought it and it's really cute. Also, the new Birthday historical outfits came with the Birthday book,which most likely added to the cost.Addy's outfit was one I always wanted but not eBay prices. Ordered it and love how it looks on Addy.Really,really really want A ddy's Patriotic dress. Hoping AG will consider that one.
I have Kirsten and joesafina in original outfits and I have Beforever Addy but I love Addy's original pink meet dress
Hope you recover quickly! I'm feeling pretty similar to you Kyla. I like both of Addy's meet outfits, but I think I'd prefer the blue dress. Julie's new outfits are cute, but I feel like Julie is overrated and I wish the other girls had their moment and that their outfits weren't so pricey. I would rather more outfits for the 3 than for Julie. I heard that the 3 are limited edition, so keep that in mind if you want to purchase anything.
