So like Broken Moon is a masterpiece right. And this is also a masterpiece. This right here, I revisit this so often it's insane. I'm not a huge fan of a lot of the styles you translate Touhou music into, but I really appreciate the work you put in. But this one, man, it feels like Broken Moon was always originally like this. Like this is what Suika used to play all those years ago for the other divas on those long drunken nights. It's particularly potent both as a nostalgic piece and as its own standalone interpretation and that's really something special. A lot of the little emotional tinges of Broken Moon are represented well here, and in its own way even does a great job of matching the bombastic nature of SWR's Broken Moon with a slower but more deliberate confidence. It may be immaterial, but this cover is not missing ANY power. Hats off.
Well that’s quite interesting. At the time when I did the arrangement I lacked many of the tools I use now for my arrangement and so I’ve seen it as a bit outdated but other than that even the rhythm of huayno back then I still had not the knowledge to properly put the “swing” the genre should rhythmically have so that was another thing I regretted from it. But yet it seems some people have found a real appreciation for it irregardless of it, I am grateful for that.
the music that you post is simply fantastic, this one in particular along with "the girl who played with people's shapes" reminds me of peruvian/incan music, this one in particular also reminds me of yzma's song: snuff out the light
The alice one is not peruvian thats merengue, aka dominican music. also this huayno in particular actually feels a bit dated to my ears because I didn’t have access to the swing I put on my huaynos now. Also lastly incan music is nothing at all like republican peruvian music, be it huaynos or valses. actual incan music I doubt most people would find pleasing on the basis that it did use microtones, and is actually more similar to meantone temperament than equal-tone like we have nowadays in western music.

What's the instrument that kicks in at 0:49? It sounds a little bit like an accordion, but I don't think that's what it is. Also, what instrument is the melody? HELP. THANKS (:
Oh well for the first question, thats a saxophone its just played in a more staccato way like how its played in huayno though. As for the main melody instruments they’re composed of zampoñas (andean pan flutes) and Quenas (another type of andean flute)
