La Semoy | These French Enduro MTB Trails Are Good!

- La Semoy Enduro trails in North East france. People said they were some of the best so we went to check them out!
I believe they are managed/maintained by Semoy VTT. There was an Enduro World Series Qualifier race here in 2019 too. This Enduro MTB hotspot is on the border with Belgium and there are multiple hills with trails.
We rode the following trails in this vlog:
La S
Gouleyante (main line and a gnarly B line)
We also rode La Rumsteck, La Dauphinee, La Chaude Forree and others but too many for this vlog! We picked a couple of our favourites for this vid.
Some trails were steeper (over on the La S side) but all trails were natural with rock features, roots and slabs. Pretty gnarly tracks. Descents were long and climbs were fairly easy. A super enduro riding place!

That is mad haha! It’s a small world 😅. Yeah we filmed this when we rode there the first time last year. Sun and good trails, can’t beat it!
Nice work getting down some of those gnarly rock sections 👏. Looked like such a cool place though so thanks for sharing. I think France has a whole has a lot more to offer than the Alps or Pyrenees. I just noticed the other day actually that the EWS goes to the South of France almost every year. If there's more in the Ardennes and Vosges regions then fantastic. I love investigating new/off beat places to potentially ride.
Thanks! It was an amazing place to ride. You’re so right. We love the alps but prefer going to some less mainstream spots when we can. We came so close to riding in the south of France just there but ran out of time to properly research it. Heard the riding is very good there!

That was our favourite. Lots going on yet still runs fast! Haha do it!
I rode there once. We were a group of 20 riders with a shuttlebus. We did 13 descends that day. It was awesome. It is the most technical place I ever rode so far (only 45 minutes away from my home trails in Bouillon) I’ve watched several videos of Les Hautes Rivières and this one is definitely the best out of all of them. You were able to represent the difficulty of the terrain pretty well, something that can be extremely difficult on camera.

We were really looking forward to editing this ride as there was so much going on in the trails and we had so much fun sessioning the different features etc. Can’t wait for another trip! Thanks! Sure. In this video it’s on a chin mount but sometimes I use a mount under the visor too👍
