- 4k footage from the Ae Forest enduro mtb trails in Scotland. Situated in Dumfries and Galloway, Ae Forest is a popular trail centre with a variety of natural enduro trails and downhill tracks. Being part of the 7 stanes MTB centres in Scotland there's so much to offer for all riders.
Filmed on Go Pro, we share POV from the trails on a group ride. Join us for the ride and experience all that Ae has to offer. It gets pretty gnarly riding here in the wet!
There’s a great wee cafe and facilities too. Ae will be hosting the British National Enduro champs in 2024 again after a successful race in 2023. You will see why given the quality of the natural mtb trails.

I rode and raced there loads back in my Uni Days in Edinburgh! I love this place. The start of the race track was always sketchy in that riverbed of roots and then it’s all good after that. Nice flow jumps and berms and a brave line to take at the first fire road that sends you intro the next section with good speed. Then it’s back to some single track tech into the nice drop and then you’re railing those berms and holding on for your life! Then there’s a few different finish lines. When they have the small jump open so you can air into the steep grassy bit was my fav but scares the crap out of me lol😂 and across the finish line.
Have you guys checked out Innerleithen. It’s not far and is worth a visit.
It’s a great place and track - got a bit of everything on it doesn’t it. Haha sounds like good memories! Yes Innerleithen is actually our local. Loved the riding so much we moved over that way 😁

Aye, the top parts of the downhill are rather knackered these days sadly
Yeah it’s a shame! They were running well in the enduro last year but probably had some love ahead of it. Other stuff is super though!
Hopefully when the ae bike association is up and running, there will be quite a bit of upgrading done 🤞as it's well needed
