sunday game reminds me of Tennessee vs chiefs. when henry ran all over the chiefs and were up by td and couldnt hang on when chiefs put the pressure on malik.
I think the only way that gameplan of ground and pound could work again is in huge wind and or really bad weather. Hats off to Matt and I am 67 yrs old, so I have seen the likes of Lombardi.
There are not enough negative expletives to describe both the Colt’s defensive plan and execution. The person primarily responsible for this is Ballard. He was so hungry for a QB that he took a very green AR right after Houston took a polished Stroud. We now have a QB that occasionally throws an accurate pass and worse than that, needs another season or two to learn how to read defenses. Good kid who is supposed to produce a win now optimism!! Way too much to expect!!!!! Don’t know, but at this point, I would consider starting Flacco alternating AR in and out. I realize that many will consider that desperation, but WINNING is the PRIMARY JOB!!! And Gus, where the hell was our run defense in the first half?? My gosh…you’re risking your job. 🤬🤬🤬😎
Willis is short, and that's his biggest flaw. He can't see over defenses, and he can't throw certain screens over the top of defenders. I'm not sure he can play under center? At least he hasn't shown it? Next week the play action will have to come out of the shotgun, which limits "play action", but we'll see what Matt dials up? We need to push the ball, but because he is so short, defenses will overload one side of the Packers offense, and force him to throw on that side, thus making everything easier for the D-Backs! Matt knows this, I think GB will have to throw early on downs and mix the run and pass sets to confuse the defense. The Titans are the best D upfront that we have faced. They're 0-2 and pissed, we have to have our best game yet!
Philadelphia looked lousey against Falcons, wasn't impressed by how they played or how the Packers played last week, Packer run D not too good once again and not much of a pass rush, D coordinator may be in deeper waters than he can handle
The Colts GAVE the Packers the game, their QB blows!! Let's please stop with the Packers defense being worth a damn!! Like you said, could NOT stop the run again and their QB thought it was the giving season of Christmas!! Hafley is a joke, just wait until people catch on to how simple their defense is, more hype than anything else!! Another gimmie QB with Will Leavis, 3 more INT's vs a garbage QB!! Enagabare is a total bust, why he even gets any snaps is beyond logic!!
