So you are telling me if I believe there is an intruder in my home and I want to turn ok strobe function I need to unscrew the light from my firearm, do those open/close battery and press/depress process and then screw it back on my firearm????? Am I confused about something ?
Strobe is actually a very unused feature of most weaponlights. To reaffirm this point if you look into most (perhaps all) low light classes strobe techniques is not something that is covered in their training curriculum. However there are still a select number of people that want the option. As demonstrated in this video this weapon light has this option to turn it on or off. Your “strobe“ feature can still be turned on and you can use the weapon light in a traditional manner By just applying pressure to the paddle to turn the light on, and when you release that pressure the weapon light will turn off. but if you decide to use the strobe feature you double tap the paddle if the feature is turned ON. If you don’t want the strobe to come on you just simply don’t double tap the paddles. The light has the capability to turn it off so that people don’t accidentally turn the strobe on when they just want the light to turn on or off. Does that make sense?
I’m not at home at the moment but I personally see no issue that would not allow the strobe feature to be on when the lock is being engaged. It would be different if the light had a low and high setting and you put the light into the lock out mode. All you’re doing is just locking it out to prevent, the light from being activated in transport, or to prevent a negligent light discharge.
Hey man.. thanks for putting this type of content out there. One question, as it’s been a while since you did your review and this video, do you still like this light? I love the look and the specs, t1 makes a holster and so do more companies. Is it still worth the money?
