J. Folke (Dernmark) - Pale Bower, Speaking Stone (EP 2024)

New release by J. Folke and his third under Janushoved, with the previous releases having been presented under Jakob Folke Ivarsson.
An absolutely beautiful piece of experimental Ambient music and Musique Concrète, with Janushoved's characteristic cinematic dynamics, done with what seems to be analog means, mostly revolving around blissful vernal tape loops combined in a very naive way, with the sound of the tape player buttons appearing in the mix even and a great amount of manipulated hiss and analog noises. A beautiful piece of ingenue and candid music, for afternoons spent by the lake, watching the herons and blackbirds fly by.
Released on cassette and digital via Janushoved.

I recommend you checking through that label, Janushoved. Lots of incredible ambient in this vein. Armadura, Raquin, Rosen & Spyddet, Lace & Collar, Mareld, Truce are a few of my favorites
