Hey! I'm not a tenor player, but I'm wondering how you play scales without open strings on the tenor. Is this something you practise? great stuff as always! you're a fabulous player.
@@IrishTenorBanjo Right! makes me wonder how one would improvise freely on the instrument without relying heavily on wide-interval lines or open-string keys.
Anyone out there selling an Irish tenor banjo ( left handed) . I got a bluegrass 5 string cos I knew fuck all about banjos , I'm getting fairly handy at the aule bluegrass but I want to play Irish stuff aswell.
One two three four five!! While i love the tune, most get it completely wrong. Acapella, and at least three bodrhan . The entire point is to get people on their feet, screaming.
I love the rymptem so lively
I feel like dancing with it gorgeous tunes
Love this
It looks like you play an F# in the first phrase in the first bar. I have also heard it played as an F♮. Is the F# version more common?
It can be either and it’s definitely a flavour or personal feel thing

@@isaacbeen2087 I love D, A and G and their minor equivalents. Most other keys are hard work! And that what capos are for….. 😉
